What does that mean exactly? Serious question, I'm a house painter in my mid 50s. Not very knowledgeable about computers or in my case smartphones.

Are you getting that google popup about being infected from adult websites they say you visited? Then offering to clear them?

Are you kidding? The first time I called my carrier, he said that the message Was the v***s.
The second time, we cleared caches and thought it would be ok.
By the third time, and I'm severely pissed because I don't go on adult sites, so tech support went through it again with me.
How did you find out it was OPP?
Is it some links we go to?
Three times in this month.
You using a v***s protection program? Using any of these Glary, Malwarebytes, adwclearer all have free versions and all keep me clean. Have never seen or had a popup of any type.

Hey IM getting that stupid v***s thing too. I don't go to adult sites. Beep beep beep. What's the deal?
What you have is malware, here is how to cure it. First go in and delete your browser history. Then clean out your emails, because that is most likely where it came from... hidden as a trogen .... Do not blame your family or friends, the person who passed it on to you probably did not know it was there. And if you have sent emails, then you probably passed it along to others. Next, run a good v***s program that also removes spyware and malware. Next, turn your computer all the way off and unplug it. Wait for about 2 minutes and log back onto your system. Now then pick a date before you began to have the problem with your system and do a restore of your system to that date. You will not loose any of your documents, but if you installed a program after that date you will need to reinstall it...be careful of that program (run your v***s program to make sure it is safe and only download from secure sites). This will fix your problem.

I have been getting it on my Samsung galaxy the last couple of weeks now and then. ...and only when on opp, i use 4 other devices also and never get that notice, i actually hit yes to see where it would take me...it said my phone is not applicable for this, ( this is not a phone)then i noticed a couple of comments at the bottom that were reviews saying how this was a s**m to buy the tool as they also never visit adult sites....it's all crap trying yo get you to but the cleaning tool best i can tell.
Your carrier? Their tech support is less than calling my wife!
First keep cool!
Go offline and do a v***s scan. Not some free program that claims to do everything. Do not use google for anything, use another search engine like

IT didn't send me anywhere, it just said not applicable for my phone, thats where i noticed the comments from others getting this saying it was trying to sell them protection. ......it was a sell add essentially.
If it pops up again i will snapshpt it and show you what i get.....it's just crap trying to be sold, at least what I've been getting anyway, don't know what the others are seeing.
