He shared with me watching Hack Wilson fall asleep on the playing field because he was

I have nothing for or against the Cubs...but also could care less about it. If this e******n were over, it would be as you say.."a whole new ball game"...but until it is over, sports can take the back burner big time.

Actually it was against Detroit in 1945. They've never played Cleveland in the world series.

So don't watch sports. And sports is taking the back burner. Hundreds upon hundreds of comments on politics here and a handful on sports. That IS a back burner.

If one can't pause long enough to cheer one's team's accomplishment, what's the point in all this h**eful talk from all sides about losing rights etc? This is an open forum, correct?
