This is why I stayed off the OPP on my favorite holiday of the year. I did not want the joy of being with my children and grandchildren diminished by exposure to such exchanges.

Obviously, this is only the opinion of one person. There are probably people on both sides of the isle that agree with him. He is not "forcing" anyone to do anything and he is not "running anyone's life". He is trying to address what is known to be a problem in this country (although probably with flawed methodology) with regard to problems with single parent children. Overton paints this one with a "broad brush".

You are a laugh...the LIBERALS are the ones wanting to take our guns, spying on everyone, Taxing and spending way beyond reason, creating a welfare state and a dependent populace.. Although the conservatives are not without guilt, I don't consider the muslim in charge to even be eligible for that position by the fact that only one parent was a citizen of the USA. The anti constitution efforts by the senate and the administration is almost more than believable! The whole congress, democrats and republicans have prostituted themselves for money in their pockets and v**es..they care about little else! The Lobbyists are running the show, PERIOD!

I agree that Conservatives have ideas that are not necessarily correct, and having children forcefully removed from their mother is deplorable without evidence the child is being put in harm's way... But to blanket All Conservatives based on indivuals' thoughts is as wrong as Conservatives blanketing All Liberals based on individual Liberals wishing Conservatives die (Lib SpokesFolk saying VP Chaney, Governor Palin, Pres Bush should be hung/boiled/Have-A-Fatal-Heart-Attack as examples)...
