How I know there is a God.

It's pretty simple. The Bible has a blueprint for how one can follow Gods will in their life. God wants what's best for us, so it would make sense that His instructions will allow His blessings in our lives. I'm 51 years old. Looking back on my life, and the decisions I've made, I have concluded that things went well when I followed Gods will. When I didn't, without exception, things went bad for me. That's all I need to know. Who else, but a Omnipotent Creator, could come up with such a plan? Mans wisdom is nothing compared to that. This is how I know that God exists and cares deeply about me. You can believe what you want, but 51 years of life experience have shown me the truth.

And then there are the throngs of saints and martyrs who never lost faith or hope in the face of great adversity, torture, persecution and death. There is no guarantee for Christians that life will be easy for them; quite the opposite in fact.

No one, regardless of their faith, has it easy. But God never gives more than we can bear, and He gives us the strength to endure. Even during adversity, He blesses us. If one knows Christ, they could lose everything and still be happy. Because they have the only thing that really matters.

Still with the anecdotal evidence eh LB. Look at Hillary, things have turned out pretty good for her. Are you going to say that she followed god biblical plan? And Donald Trump has pretty much admitted to being a male whore, screwed hard working people out of their money every chance he got, and has no qualms about committing adultery. Yet his is a billionaire, is worshiped by millions, and aside from the presidency has everything he wants. According to your 'knowing' of gods plan both should be failures. And what about me, my life has turned out pretty good. Bus as an atheist shouldn't I be in the street somewhere with maggots crawling out my rib cage?

Some times anecdotal evidence aint quite what it seems. And one thing that I have yet to figure out about you is why are you always going to so much effort to convince yourself that god exists. Is faith not enough? I have to wonder--it certainly doesn't seem so...

What does it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, but loses his own soul? One thing you should realize is that material wealth means nothing. I don't know any rich people who are happy. And look at Hollywood. Actors make millions, and live in mansions, yet you are always seeing stories about how messed up they are. You still don't get it. You never will. And it still sucks to be you, Peter sucker. Goodbye.
