Stand, knell, or blow bubbles during the National Anthem of this country is the enduring greatness and beauty of our Constitution

Liberty. Free speech. The right to publicly defy the government without government consequence. Not asshole consequences who do not understand or appreciate free speech. Disagree vehemently with Colin and others for their protest but utterly glory in their right to do so. Praise them for their courage and conviction, true patriots of our way of life.

I***ts tell them to leave America if they h**e it so much: they knell and are allowed to knell because they love it here so much and our way of life, which by law, allows it. We have this liberty. Protest is a great hooray for the Constitution, in any form. Our Constitution encourages such stands. The Right always seems to be against protest.

Why is it that we never see the Right hold protests? They only hold rallies. What's up with that? Status Que--a god. This is what they worship no matter how many American lives are hurt, damaged, or destroyed by it. The history of America repeatedly shows this to be true, in very ugly detail. America cannot be, by its very nature, Conservative. It is an a*********n to its basic principles. Growth and progress, not the status quo, feeds the muscles of liberty. Status quo and fear are almost synonymous. Liberty is daring, the most dangerous element on the planet.

So ,, the guy with a grievance who can stand but does not is the patriot . I think his protest is his choice . A Patriot is the guy who always stands in respect for his country regardless his grievances .
There is a difference . Kapack can sit , but a Patriot he is NOT !!!!!!!!!!!

The f**g is not about the "government". The f**g is about one's birthplace, one's country - and government can be the worst friend our country has; so the f**g does not represent government.....it represents the good people that make up our nation. Yes, it is wonderful that we have the right to free speech (which if the left continues its onslaught will disappear), and only the right wing protects it. It was that i***t football player's right to diss our f**g.....it was also the NFL's right to set the rules for its players, and it should have rules that DEMAND the insanely high salaried players show respect for the nation and the citizens who are childish enough to pay to watch professional sports.

That is one of the most hypocritical, brain rotted rants I've read in a while. Another fucking c****e apparatchik mocking America while hiding behind our Constitution.

Wanna bet he has never even looked at a copy of the Constitution, let alone actually READ it?

Yes, it is for those that love and respect this country, which you evidently do not.

BTW, what knell are you advocating for the country, its death knell?

What is best to remember? An action protesting the f**g or the freedom to do so? Think about it. Where else but here is that possible. I call that majestic.

The freedom to protest the f**g is endemic in this great country. However, those wishing to desecrate and/or disrespect it are welcome to leave and find another country with a f**g they could respect.

You cannot possibly be that intolerant. How respectful of the f**g would be a Cherokee walking the Trails of Tears? To bother to protest instead of just leave, as you suggest, proves respect for the principles of this nation. If a useless act or without a belief we stand by our laws, why bother to protest? The protest testifies it believes in this nation.

Why would one want to protest, mutilate and burn the American F**g? Too many have shed blood and died to protect it and for what it stands for.
