It depends on what you do when someone tests positive.

UH Dave, did you even read the article? They lost their benefits, unless children were involved. I'm sure the kids were tested to, as the residue from druggies pot or anything lingers in a home. Kids probably removed into child custody until folks cleaned up.

Why didn't NC test everyone?
Screening is not testing. It's up to the screener to decide who gets tested. Screeners are as dirty as the screenees.
I can see it clearly, "Here's a gram of coke, and an ounce of pot to keep me off the list."
Unless everyone is tested, 21 people out of 89 aren't going to make a big difference.
7900 screened. 89 tested.
Bulls**t.
I am for everyone tested.

I think it is a great idea as long as it applies to the board of directors and management of every business and corporation that receives any form of corporate Wellfare including tax credits, incentives and taxpayer funded infastructure. Of course they would need to go to then same facility and go through the same testing procedure as the other Wellfare recipients. And be cut off from all benefits if they fail. We would save millions and with the corporate Wellfare drug tests and unlike testing individuals the results would not take food from the table of one poor child.

Yea, it may end-up, mcm, like the NSA Muslim searching the Catholic nun at Kennedy Airport for weapons while allowing the fully-robed, young {"Jihadists"?} to saunter on by!!! It seems in this day-and-age, the criminals are trying to arrest {or k**l} the "PIGS;" right - sorry, "left" from the top!!! Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TRUMP!!!

Good idea, however
that steps on too many toes, kev. The directors and managers make the rules and would never go for that.
We are bamboozled at every point. We, the people, need to see how much is spent on welfare. If testing and proving saves $$, show us where the "extra" $$ saved is being spent.
It's a pipe dream. Too many cooks in the kitchen.
I can predict where the $$ "saved" will go.
It will line the pockets of our elected officials who supposedly hired to look after our concerns.
