We may not like that "Season's Greetings" has replaced "Merry Christmas" in many public businesses, but if we want "Merry Christmas" to be restored, we have to promote the free expression of other religions feast days or celebrations, thus promoting false gods. You want a return to prayer in schools, then it has to include at least Allah and Krishna and many others. Again, promoting false gods for our "religious freedom." And then the ridiculous refusal to bake a cake. Hard to comprehend the idiocy behind that decision. Can we find such a decision in the Bible? No, pure and simple. Just going to work and making any money contributes to evil. Baking a cake is not giving oneself up to vestal virgins. A total silliness!

We may not like that "Season's Greetings"... (show quote)

No one is stopping you from saying "Have a Resounding Ramadan." To say you cannot express a Christian greeting is ridiculous. If someone wants to say Happy Hannukah, no one is stopping them. To suggest that "Merry Christmas" be disallowed because a handful of easily offended butthurt dips**ts complain is far more ridiculous. As far as baking a cake goes, the bakery in question was singled out because of their beliefs. Are you stupid enough to think this was a random choice? There were dozens of bakeries that would have been happy to have the business.
By the way, "giving oneself up to vestal virgins" is a completely nonsensical statement. It's obvious you have no idea what a Vestal Virgin is, (or more accurately, who they were, ) you just thought it sounded cool, right?

Likely this is not going to happen because of the backlash that many stores received when they decided to remove 'Merry Christmas' and replace it with 'Happy Holidays'. My feeling is, if this people don't like it LEAVE the country, I say Merry Christmas so live with it.

Singapore is a very multicultural nation and they celebrate the holidays of all of the major groups of citizens who live there and seem to be doing just fine. Why not take the Jewish high holidays, Eid, and Chinese new year off along with Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving and the Fourth of July? Americans work far too many hours as it is.

You can celebrate Hitlers birthday if you want it is a free country. As far as how you are greated entering a shop who gives a damn if someone at the joint says happy holiday instead of merry Christmas? Pull the stick out of your ass already, you are just there to buy some stuff, what you should be concerned with is good service and se******n.

This is something I would expect from you, no principle just give me more for less. When enough people like myself say enough stores pay attention, it's their bottom line. Unprincipled people like yourself simply throw up your hands and demand, well I say SCREW YOU BUDDY!

This has never been a Christian nation, our constitution expressly forbids the government from recognizing a specific religion. Perhaps it is you that should move to a country with an offical religion.

This country was founded on Judeo-Christian beliefs and principles.

It also forbids laws prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

What part of the constitution does that?

None of it. The First Amendment states that "Congress shall make no law regarding an ESTABLISHMENT OF RELIGION or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."
