I mean like, a rat. A packrat.
I have one coming into my toolshed, and can't catch it! It has defeated me for 3 days now, and it's GAME ON!!
I have dealt with several of these clever beasts over the years, and always won with them. This guy/gal is special!

I found the hole where it chewed it's way in, but I don't want to seal it up till I catch it. Poison is out of the question because of the dogs. So.....it may be a Caddy shack weekend around here!!

We have 6 cats and no rodents on our 2 1/2 acres...except for the surviving rodents they bring in from elsewhere and release in the house!

Put steel wool in the hole, and hope he eats his way through again.

The hole will be stuffed, and covered with metal. I don't know if it a stallion, or a mare. Either way....there will be one less breeder on the planet once I win this battle!

I think I have it handled Mike! If it tricks me this time.....look for a mushroom cloud over the Texas Panhandle!! Even the Chuck Norris of rats can be defeated!

Rats are creatures of habit. Get to know their routine...wait for them to make their rounds...and BIP! Whackamole!

My folks were on a camping trip once. For three days they were worried by a peculiar knocking coming from the engine. Finally, my Pa took the breather off the truck and found a packrat had taken residence under it. I imagine it got pretty hot in there.

I want to catch it alive so I can execute it. If not....bless it's heart!

That's why I suggested a gopher trap and a shiny object as bait...even better...make the trap shiny too!

Or get a cat...a mean one.

They will ruin a vehicle! My brother spent scads of money replacing the wiring harness on his ranch truck because of them! We only get then now, and then, so it is imperative to stop the breeding!

Where can I go to 'milk' a wolfe? I'm not that desperate yet!
I was mildly amused at first because I have never had trouble catching them. This guy is pis sing me off, while mildly amusing me! It is a challenge! Warfare! I am the dominant species here, and I will win!....Maybe....
