Anyone else remember these? Ahh. The good old days.

The graphics weren't that great, but I still fondly remember several games from that era.

I heard of a couple of those, but never played any. That means no fond memories of those video games - from any era, I guess. I used to play pinball machines, but they seemed to go the way of lots of electronics.

You can play pinball on your PC. They've got some pretty darn good simulations for that.

One thing I love about older games is that they didn't have a lot of eye candy, so they actually had to be fun, in order to make sales. I remember a game called Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It was a turn based strategy game about combat in ancient China. Basically a war for the throne. Historically accurate too. Hire and train troops. Manage resources. Invade nearby Provinces. Great game. If you'd like to try out some of the older games, they have a free emulator for the PC. Once you install it, you can play old Nintendo games on your PC.

Pinball on a PC? Ha. That is even hard to imagine. No real balls; all electronic. My computer doesn't have any flippers either. Besides I know little about a PC since I alway had a Mac. But my laptop is PC for when I go on trips.

Check this out. They also have something for the Mac, no doubt.

Kool, I guess. They gotta be just plain electronic. I don't even like the electronic slot machines.
I like to play cards, too, but not on the computer. Basically the only thing I played on the computer was Tetris or a solitaire card game and haven't played those for at least 10 years. My machine today has no games on it - at least none that I know of since it might have came with some. I reckon I just haven't changed with video the times as far as games go.

Ah, but what I use my computer for has the latest Office, and includes oodles of records. Between that, searching for stuff, and emails it keeps me up to date and busy. Plus read stuff like crap people write here. (Not so much Power Point as I used to when I was working.)

I know what you mean. I'm on disability, so I have all day to play games, and it's still not enough time. If I didn't have eat sleep or shower, I still wouldn't have enough time.
