According to reports.....

Early one recent Saturday morning, while doing her countless errands, the flashing lights of a police car appeared in AuntiE's rear-view mirror. After checking her license and registration, the officer asked, "Do you know why I pulled you over?"

"No," replied our Sainted One.

"One of your tail lights is out," he said. "I'm going to have to issue a warning."

"Whew," said AuntiE, without thinking. "I thought it was because my inspection sticker had expired."

In fact, my emission inspection was due in August. I failed to put it on my calendar. Today it was completed with an additional fee added.
