M<any people, especially the poor, don't own cars. And many people, especially the elderly don't drive. And many people, especially the poor, the elderly and the Black, don't have driving licenses. Where di you hear that there were many districts where Romney didn't get a single v**e. That sounds like a Whopper to me.

How about Philadelphia where in 59 districts Romney got nary a v**e? Is that true?

I know what you are talking about but here in Kansas our Legislature just passed the law requiring ID to v**e and we used them for our primary and then the general. I don't know anybody who had trouble with that. Most people drive so have to have picture ID driver licenses and those who don't could go to the DOT and get free IDs that looked like the DL. Why was that so hard? We just used them again for our local e******ns the other day. I just don't see any reason why picture ID is so tough unless you are one who wants to v**e for a dead name or something like that.

To my friend, OldRoy, who said, " I just can't throw my v**e away like that."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
But you did throw it away for v****g for the better of two evils instead of v****g for non-evil, didn't you? So did those who stayed home and didn't even try to stop evil. It is time we start v****g as decent people. Let the "big boys" play politics and let us decent "small fry" v**e for good and decency - and we'll beat them! And I'm betting we could beat them EVERY TIME! And, yes, I know that's a tall order. I happen to believe God is on our side if we will give him a chance to speak. And, Roy, I am not even a Christian, but do I ever believe in the power of God!!
What all those multiple news stations, TV, radio, did not tell you about was about the 20+ prescints in Florida that had 113-158% v**er turnout, nearly all for Obama; about the suburban community in Pennsylvania where every single one of the v**es was for Obama, even though there would obviously be some conservatives in such an area; about the v**er in Colorado who discovered the machine was recording her v**e for Obama (three different tries when she complained), the busloads of Somalians who showed up at the polls in Wisconsin (I believe it was); one state where they refused to clean up their v****g list and eliminate deceased; and on and on and on..... What about liberals refusing to pass any laws for v**er ID? Fifteen states require v**er ID and Obama lost all 15 of those states. Then there was the candidate's own son caught promoting fraud. The gal that admitted v****g several times (for Obama, of course), did make the news a little more, at least on Fox.
Absolutely! I don't believe for a nanosecond that Obama has ever won an honest e******n in his life. This last e******n was obviously rotten, but the weak-kneed pubbies wouldn't do a thing about it .......... just talked about having a bad candidate, having no one who could blow Obama's oratorical sk**ls away, etc, ad nauseum. This last e******n should have been challenged. Why wasn't it?! I'll tell you why - because had the public heard the t***h, all hell would have broken loose, a civil war would probably have followed, and then the pubbies would apologize for hurting Obama's feelings. The pubbies KNEW they didn't have the guts to stand up for the US Constitution. And we'd still be exactly where we are today - held hostage by a bunch of nuts in DC......both sides of the aisle, all 3 branches.
Heck, Montanan, all of us occasionally misspell or commit a different sort of typo. We know this happens. I hope you don't feel you SHOULD apologize. The spelling police can be responsible for that. LOL. Hugs
It seems that you fail to understand that establishment Republicans insisted on nominating Romney and since they were running the whole thing they had to keep from hurting the feelings of their buddies in the establishment Democrat area. i see most of those establishment people on both sides to be progressives so I still think we can overcome that part of the Republican Party.
I have a V**er ID Card that is just that, given to me by the courthouse. It has my name , address, precinct number, and our house, senate, school district, ward and county commissioners district numbers. Even though some of the ladies who work at the e******n booths know me personally,(small town), they are still required to ask for my ID. The only problem with this card might be that it could easily be duplicated,. Wouldn't work here in my hometown but might in a large metropolitan area. It is simply not that hard to get an ID card of some kind that is acceptable.
People here in Kansas can all have ID with their pictures like on the driver's license and their cards look the same except for the writing on them. Many people do not drive but all they have to do to get the ID that looks much like a DL is go to the DOT and be issued one. Very hard to duplicate, I think.
