Best one I ever saw was a guy holding a piece of cardboard that said "Why lie I need beer." I would have bought him one, but he had plenty.

I know this is a little OFF TOPIC,
however, I had to add this.
I have over 35 "Tip Signs"
It's professional begging for people with jobs.
I created my "tip sign" collection 10 years ago.
And the places that started using them saw a
dramatic increase in tips.
My most talked about tip sign says:
"Every time you tip ,
a Justin Bieber fan dies."
So, I think a beggar also needs to be creative.
