Do you remember these people from the Golden Age of moviemaking?

I don't know how many I got wrong but the result must have been good judging by their response to me. It is easy for we old folks since you only have to choose between two people and often I know it ain't one so has to be the other. I show my age by the fact that I drank with one male star of the period in Italy when he was working on a movie. Rock Hudson didn't seem like he was a fairy in all those nights in the NCO club at the Air Force base in Udine, Italy. He was a lot of fun for all of we mid-20s soldiers.

Many women tried to sing this song but none of them ever touched DD. This song must have been written for that voice and the way she sang it.

Here is another one that fit her so well. Many tried but none rivaled her.

Even this great voice couldn't touch Doris Day.

It was so great to try to make it to every Doris Day movie and I sure did it. The good old mid and late 50s.
