Incredible! You DID pass the test. Well done! You remember all the important stuff from elementary school."

Ahh....ok....smarty pants!😆
Hey, I saw something about you rescuing some underfed horses. How are they doing? We want to do some of that, but can't with work, finances, and all, so we donate what we can to the Dove Creek Ranch. A shelter near us for horses. We are working towards sponsoring one who is not able to be adopted because of physical problems.

The owners could not afford to feed the horses so they let them to pasture... they did not know that we do donations for families with pets that need a hand up... Well I got wind of the horses in probable need, and approached the family, thinking that the horses would be in fairly good shape and the family only need help feeding them. I was wrong, the horses were in need of medical attention to include a farrier... but they were full of spirit! I got d**gged, bit, kicked and I am sure they were thinking in profanity! Six horses..... anyway, this was about 3 weeks ago... my bruises are fading and the doc says that my broken ribs are healing...but, you did not ask about that.... we brought them home and all have gained weight, coats are beginning to show signs of good oil production, and they now think that my daughter and I are okay in their reasoning, but they do not like to see my uncle ... he's the vet, something to do with the hands being put in areas that... well, is uncomfortable. Because this never went to the police or animal control, these horses will go back to their family in about 4 months or so, depending on their progress.... we will support the horses with food and medical until the family gets back on their feet. They did not want to harm their horses, they thought that the horses could eke out a living from the pasture...but the pasture was only an acre... Just good people in a bad situation.

Sponsoring of my ever growing zoo... including two lamas, several peacocks and pen hens, donkeys, mules, horses, cats, dogs, a Gopherus agassizii (desert tortoise), and other critters... keeps me going. Most of the sponsors do not have spare change, but they do know people and they spread the word about the rescue, this is the way I find not only extra hands to help feed, medicate, or help in rescues, but animals in need of help and forever homes. Good for you Archie... sponsorship keeps animals healthy and alive!

Bless you people for what you do! That is what America is about!!
I h**e to hear about your injuries! Dang it! Broken ribs are the worst....well...as long as your tailbone isn't broken at the same time! Either, or, it is miserable!

Would you tell that spunky daughter of yours HI for me, and tell her that many are happy that she is doing well?

It was right out of a slapstick comedy.... I roped a horse... and he was not happy.. He ran, I could not keep up... too bad no one took a video... The story goes, he ran down the fence line and I dug in my heels while yelling the big "oh s*it! Wo darn you!" Horse stops but I did not, horse reversed and reared.... I hung on, but now I am on my face on the ground.... still yelling...down the other way and then back again. I did not know I had broken ribs until I finished my job and got in the car... I thought I only had a bruised ego... but then I had problems breathing. But, all is well now... and pardon the pun, but I bounced right back! According to my helpers... I did quite a few bounces! Thank G*d all I had was a few bumps and bruises and no harm to the bum! I don't think I will live this down anytime soon!

Duckie is now in college! My, how time flies! Her grades are good... she did get a B... hurt her GPA.... I am so proud of her, such a big difference from the frightened and tearful girl of three years ago... Of course I will pass on your greetings and well wishes.

Have you seen any lefties report scores? I haven't and was sure it wouldn't happen when I saw that one. You could easily get mixed up on some of those science kind of questions. On most of them I decided what wasn't right and then usually just had to delete one of the two left over.

I spent too many years teaching high school to not be able to take multiple choice tests. Once when I was working on my MS I got to take a multiple choice test without even seeing the questions and scored a 48%. That kid that was scoring those things for a professor just couldn't believe that so I took it with the questions and scored 85%. It was in a field I had never studied too. Multiple choice is for i***ts in most cases.

I am not a "lefty" Although I am left handed...does that count?

.... I was agreeing with you... if you noticed my earlier response.... I admitted that being able to take a test does not imply that a person is smart or dumb. With your last line... "Multiple choice is for i***ts in most cases." Supported my claim of being an i***t.

I was sure I understood what you meant but couldn't well do this without giving left leaners a chance at us. I never liked to give tests with many multiple choices on it since they take so much work to make out.

My mind is a little strange.... when I take a "test" like this, the right answer just stands out and I don't even "notice" the other choices. I also remember everything I read... My husband (may G*d give him rest) always said that I was cursed....rather than being blessed. I guess now you see why I do not consider myself very smart. Smart people learn things, dumb people memorize. I don't do either, so I remain your humble ignorant acquaintance. On a positive note, I am quite aware of my limitations.
