College is great and should be taken advantage of if possible, but there are many blue-collar skilled labor jobs that pay excellent wages and are needed in many areas. One of these is good skilled carpenters. They are few and far between at this point. And last of all, the Lord never meant for us not to enjoy life and going to church gives us fellowship along with a good sermon and bible study. 🙂
