I would hope that the Republican party would do the right thing and apololigize. President Obama sure missed a good opportunity to save his butt...if only he had taken it...
Just kidding...Every Republicans up for e******n in 2014 should be very kind to Ted Cruz, he has saved their sorry asses. If I was up for ree******n I sure hope he would campaign for me! He's the winner in all of this.

If him being right makes him the winner. It is all politics, and posturing. Cruz has done everything he said he would. Now the wormy rinos are trying to follow. They threw him under the bus, and now it looks like they want to gain political points by simply repeating his arguments.

It shouldn't be to hard for v**ers to find out who is truly behind Cruz and who is just posturing to look good now and hopefully get reelected. I see McCain is now coming over begrudgingly but he is still attacking Cruz even though he is supporting what Cruz did out loud.

There are a LOT of Republicans up for ree******n that need to be PRIMARIED by their constituents and REPLACED. I don't care what they promise at e******n time, their RECORD is what needs to be judged.

These yahoos have taken advantage of their base for too long.

Cruz really messed up. He should apologize. Had he stayed out of it, the establishment GOP would've had a hay day. Instead, there were over 45 days of the focus taken off obamacare and it hurt the GOP. Cruz messed up and somehow he is hero on Brietbart while rino's are the problem? Rino's saved the GOP from a Cruz muck up. Otherwise, all the Tparty patriot lemmings were following Cruz off the financial cliff while chanting, "We want the debt ceiling next". Rino's got the budget passed while Cruz sits back and collects campaign contributions. Tparty lost their focus; are too gullible. Any one wailing "liberty, freedom and less government" can get money but the one's actually doing the work to get things passed with lib opponents are taking a hit. Cruz will basically split the GOP and give the libs 2014 and 2016.

Cruz has done the right thing - he attempted to do what his constituents elected him to do, and in the process sent a message to the Establishment. If they had been listening to us NONE of this would have happened!

We have been taken advantage of in a huge and cynical way for a looooong time! Who's the dummy if they continue to v**e for more of the same?

Sometimes a battle must be lost to win the war. Let's hope the Republicans figure that out before a big part of their base deserts them in the next e******n. I can just about guarantee that's what will happen if they don't.
