The perils of adultery

God came to this planet and wrote with His finger in stone do not commit adultery. No one will prosper doing something God has forbidden. We want to see God perform supernatural miracles but get angry at the thought that we must follow the simplest of God’s instructions. That is not how it works. You have be faithful with a little before you get a lot. We are putting our desire to please the flesh before God. This can only lead to failure. There are questions and ideas we should consider before we do something God forbids. In the case of adultery we should consider the consequences. How will people look at you when and if they find out? What effect will the knowledge of your affair have on your children? Is there a chance I could catch a social disease? What happens if I infect my spouse? When you marry your life changes. You should esteem your new family above your old. Your children need you more than your parents.
