Deceiving Spirits know the Bible

Earlier this morning, I posted an article "The Bible is for all "Eternity." This article that I am now posting "Deceiving Spirits know the Bible," is for the purpose of relating to Christians, that "Deceiving Spirits" which come from the "Kingdom of Darkness," understand fully on just how important it is for Christians to read and meditate upon the Written Word of God faithfully!
In my article "The Bible is for all "Eternity," in the last section of this article, the results of a Gallop Poll that was taken a few years ago in regards to the faithfulness of Christians reading their Bibles is quite alarming. Without question, Deceiving Spirits have been very (through a number of different methods) successful in putting up road blocks that are and have been hindering many American Christians from reading and meditating upon the Written of God faithfully.

Thanks for posting, Alan. I have been thinking for some time that I have been falling behind in my Bible study. I believe God is using this to poke me one more time. It is our link to God and we often neglect it. Thanks.

I became a Christian 40 years ago. In the early part of 1988, the Pastor of a Church that I had been very involved with for a number of years (the Church eventually came to an end), asked me to bring forth a message to the congregation one Sunday morning. I am sending you a copy of that sermon (The Lord's Treasure Chest), which is contained in the attachment. It is the only sermon that I have ever wanted to hold onto to, out of a number of sermons that I brought forth, from time to time.
Even after all these years, from time to time, when I read this sermon again, It still ministers to me on a personal basis. I had been a Christian less than 12 years when I brought forth this message. With me being a relatively young Christian at the time, I still marvel at the degree of insight that the Lord gave in regards to this very important subject.
I have decided to share with you, several more articles that I have written on this subject, in hopes that they will encourage even more in being faithful on reading and meditating upon God's Written Word. The Lord has given me a great passion to try and stir up the Body of Christ in the area of reading and meditating upon God's Written Word. Hopefully the articles that I have written on this subject reflect this.
Tomorrow morning, in the Faith, Religion and Spirituality section of this site, I will be sharing a Word that the Lord spoke to my Spirit in 2008. (Christians Suffering from Malnutrition) It was a very sobering Word.
