Tonight there is a full moon with Eclipse watch for it....I am sure it will be magnificent to see..I plan to anyway..

That's funny. I checked the schedule, and the next eclipse is Sept 1st. Are you sure?

I think I was looking at the schedule for a total eclipse. The one tonight is a partial eclipse. Nothing spectacular.

Very true, and without seeing more maybe it is...One would assume if living accommodation they would have chosen one sealed, so that rain you reference didn't wet their home....

Good luck, LBOH. I won't be able to make it.I'm having my head frozen, hopefully, AFTER I die. I'll leave instructions for them to take my head out for the next comet pass so I can see it - then return it immediately to the freezer. Knowing my luck, they'll stick it in a cooler with the beer for the trip to the viewing site, then after a few beers - forget it's in there.
