Jesus moldy you just solidified his posting by quoting the dailykos . They represent exactly what he was talking about.

Liberals can be so easily duped. One minor radio show host with a handful of listeners in an overwhelmingly democratic city makes a statement, and Daily Kos thinks it a world shattering revelation.

So what do you plan on doing. The one thing that's been established is that you grow fewer and fewer every day. We don't have to do anything but let you die out. You guys are a bunch of toothless ole white men who are terrified of the world around you but pretty well helpless in your ability to spread terror yourselves...

Personally, I do not wish to spread terror! The Islamists seem to be doing a pretty good at doing just that...even though they are a JV.

The gentleman's point is right. Through the process of demonizing legitimate media and respected institutions of higher learning right wing propagandists have created a world where anyone makes up and believes wh**ever feels good to them and fact gos out the window. In essence the rank and file right has replaced fact and reality with ideology and it is now destroying their own institutions. Personaly I enjoy watching them choke on it.

The Republican Party was founded to end s***ery while Democrats sought secession to preserve the practice.
b***k A******ns v**e overwhelmingly for the Democratic Party—a party whose failed socialist policies have turned black communities into economic and social wastelands

(Can anyone say Detr**t?)
Surveys show that b***k A******ns think conservative, but v**e liberal because they have been barraged for over 40 years with falsehoods about the Republican Party by

the Democrats who have hijacked the civil rights record of the Republican Party and taken b****s down the path of Socialism.

History shows that Democrats fought to expand s***ery while Republicans fought to end it. From its founding in 1854 as the anti-s***ery party until today, the

Republican Party has championed freedom and civil rights for b****s. Republicans fought to free b****s from s***ery and amended the Constitution to grant b****s

freedom (13th Amendment), citizenship (14th Amendment) and the right to v**e (15th Amendment). Republicans also passed the civil rights laws of the 1860’s, including

the Civil Rights Act of 1866 and the Reconstruction Act of 1867 that was designed to establish a new government system in the Democrat-controlled South, one that was

fair to b****s.....

In an interview with Business Insider’s Oliver Darcy, a conservative radio host lamented the fact that conservative media has conditioned its followers to distrust the mainstream media so much that they have become fact-free “monsters.”

In a tweet promoting an upcoming piece on rightwing media, Darcy posted an excerpt from an interview with conservative radio host Charlie Sykes who claims candidates like Donald Trump can say anything on the stump without fear of being fact-checked by the likes of Fox News or conservative websites.

“We’ve basically eliminated any of the referees, the gatekeepers. There’s nobody. Let’s say that Donald Trump basically makes wh**ever you want to say, wh**ever claim he wants to make. And everybody knows it’s a falsehood,” he explained. “The big question of my audience, it is impossible for me to say that. ‘By the way, you know it’s false.’ And they’ll say, ‘Why? I saw it on Allen B. West.’ Or they’ll say, ‘I saw it on a Facebook page.’ And I’ll say, ‘The New York Times did a fact check.’ And they’ll say, Oh, that’s The New York Times. That’s bulls**t.'”

According to Sykes, any attempts to continue fighting back against misinformation is dismissed with complaints that he has “sold out,” adding, “Then they’ll ask what’s wrong with me for not repeating these stories that I know not to be true.”

Sykes warned “There’s got to be a reckoning on all this.”

The "reckoning" are all the dumb, uninformed, republican v**ers out there who have been taught to distrust everything they hear. The "reckoning" is the Republican party in the state that it is in today. Thank god, h**e radio never caught on with liberal listeners....
In an interview with Business Insider’s Oliver Dar... (show quote)

A lot of what you are saying is true. People often do believe the facts that fit their personal template and reject the ones that don't. The reason for this is because we are lied to so much. Metaphorically, this is "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" meets the news. Slant and agenda are constantly thrown at us under the guise of it being news. Credibility is gone, no one can really be trusted, so we are left trust our feelings. This comes back to the topic of this string. People do not listen to facts that they reject on feelings. Radio talkshows are not the news, they are entertainment, always have been. The problem is the news is not the news anymore, it has become entertainment. I h**e to bring up this example but the c*****e c****e issue is a classic case of who do you trust. Both sides of the issue claim to have facts, but real facts are hard to believe because of all the junk science that gets all the attention. Watching the news and listening to the talk shows it is so t***sparent. If you don't see it then you are being sucked in by your own beliefs.

My point. A minor league talk show host with a very small audience in an overwhelmingly Democratic city, and all of a sudden he is the voice of conservatism, even though no one has heard of him.
