We make sure that each dog has alone time, alone with us, each day. the other two go into their crates (cages) and the one dog gets play time fun training and just petting and snuggle time, with out the other two, All dogs are fed in their crates anyhow, with doors closed, then we open the door on one crate so that dog can come out and play. when either Pete or David is here, we let him visit with one dog for the afternoon, then after dinner a different dog. since there are now three dogs the chart for David or Pete notes which two visited last time so all dogs are rotated. The one on one with the boys works wonders makes the connection better, and each boy gets to learn some trick to teach the dog in their special time. Great fun to watch the connections grow and the love connection become stronger. If you have children and more than one dog, take time with one child and one dog and teach both of them something new. Works wonders to keep peace in the human family as well as the dog family.
