We should read the prophets

If we want to see how God gets along with man we should read the Old Testament. If we want to know God’s true feelings and intentions we should read the prophets. God doesn’t change and God doesn’t die. The God of the Old Testament is the same God of the New Testament. We do ourselves a disservice when we describe God without the word of God. We are saying things about God that He doesn’t say about Himself. The solution to all of our problems are following God and reading our bibles. We are fooling ourselves when we think we are in charge. In the body there is only one head. In the church, God’s word should be taught. We should follow God and not man.

You're spot on, Fred. Isaiah 34:16 "Seek ye out of the book of the Lord and read: no one of these shall fail..." But the book is sealed and we won't fully understand it until the Messiah comes. Proverbs 9:10 "...and the knowledge of the holy is understanding". Isaiah 29:11 "And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed..."

How do you know he's not here now?

He is here Fred and he made his first appearance about 33 years ago. He ended the Cold war, and the war in Ireland between the Protestants and Catholics. He also restored pride to the US military and in 1988, he got the Jews out of Russia. His second appearance could be at any time now at which time he will kill his enemies. Psalm 37:20, Psalm 97:3. I call this VWD Day and it stands for Vengeance, Wrath, and Destruction. It's the first Day of the Lord.
