I became a Christian a little over 40 years ago. For approximately 38 years as a Christian, I use to have a completely different belief and understanding regarding the subject of Hell, the Lake of Fire and eternal torment. However, after my many years of Biblical study, it was as if the Lord turned on a switch to my Spiritual understanding to see much more clearly many Biblical t***hs in regards to this subject. For all those years, I thought that I had a good understanding, but I began to realize that I was completely wrong.

A couple of years ago, I wrote an article "What is the "GOOD NEWS" of the Gospel of Christ?" (Re-examining the widely held belief of "eternal torment" in "Hellfire"). It is the longest article that I have every written. By the way, writing is not one of my favorite things to do. I have attached the file which contains this article to this post.

I believe our founding father Thomas Jefferson was far more versed on this subject!

And you think that Jefferson's opinion seals the deal. Very lame response, Wolfe, but SOP for you.

There is another alternative.... leave people to believe in G*d if they want and stop trying to find someone to give you a reason to believe. It seems that anytime there is a post about religion... we can almost count on you showing up. Here is a clue, no one can give you faith.... it comes from inside of you and it is not easy to ignore. And the more you fight it, the harder it becomes to ignore.... could this be the reason that you follow all the posts on faith? Or do you hope to belittle those who do believe in turning their back on the Father.... for a true believer, you are wasting your time.

What you have failed to realize is that the letter "O" is used by prostitutes, as the lingo for a blowjob on porn sites! No, thanks!

You might want to approach Trump though, he hires them by the dozen's!

Your gods are Einstein, Mark Twain, and Thomas Jefferson.

They have been dead for decades.

My Gods name is Jehovah and HE will never die.

My God wrote ONE book.

His book has sold more than all the books ever written by your gods and more.

He is the most popular being in the history of humankind.

And YOUR gods, just like you, are worm dirt.....................Mr. Wolfe.

And moronic response ignores that your mythical Jesus has been dead for centuries, duh! No wonder the most intelligent people that ever existed, have denied any deity!

If you believe that Jesus died, then you believe in Jesus.

Congratulations Mr Wolfe.

You are now a Christian.

There are sources that attest to Jesus' existence outside of the bible... specifically you can find references made by Tacitus. And his reference was only 64 years after the death of Christ... still in what is considered "living memory." Of course there is then Pliny the Younger to Emperor Trajan, who wrote asking for advice on those accused of being Christians. This was marginally outside of the Living Memory.... but, still significant. And then there is the notable historian Josephus who writes about Jesus, the brother of James which correlates with passages of the Bible. Even the Talmud references Jesus or more accurately Yeshu. Later, the atheist Lucian of Samosata writes about Jesus. Throughout the ages, people have written about Him.... from Israel to Russia, Italy to North Africa.... that is a large swath of the world to recognize and write about one individual who you think may not have existed.

Let me ask you... after you die, will you be remembered for more than a year? Most people get over mourning in a year.... unless you are family. So... who will remember you in 60, 100, or a 1000 years?
