Yes, I know the restaurant. Mostly we would drop our crap pots, after about a hour and full pots......more dungeness crab then we could eat.
In just the last three weeks moved to Redding california , so will be looking forward to visiting our hometown Squim next year during crab season.

The name of the restaurant is Three Crabs.
Next time you go consider renting a small boat and doing some crabbing, it's a blast. Dungeness bay, just out of the Sequim bay channel has some of the best crabbing in the U.S.

The way I see it, the faux fear business, exemplified by MMGW, is but one of the many tools of destruction the progressives are either hitting civilization with or plan to hit civilization with.
Progressives want to use government organizations, sub-units like Dept of Ed. EPA, IRS, to first make the population dumber than any which so far inhabited these shores and then beat us all into submission as THEY assert their *superiority*.

Dumming down an entire population, controlling curriculum controls thought and prejudices. Millennial's of today , 70+% unable to name the 3 branches of government, believe the Constitution and bill of rights are outdated, our weakest minded generation in the math and sciences, brainwashed in believing Christian conservatives are r****t evil capitalist, seeking to destroy our environment. Replaced God with humanism, disrespectful of the elder generation, compelled to expanding entitlements. This is the microwave generation wanting instant gratification, exempt of work ethics. Jack squim wa, Three Crabs!!!! The greatest crab restaurant in the country. Is there a story about how that name is used? Your experiences sound so exciting. I will probably never return to that part of the country or travel again. You see, I am a senior senior great grandmother on her way to 90 and disabled. Congratulations for nearing the 90 mark, the Lord is great and being here for his purpose and glory.
Sadly I must report the three crabs restaurant has fallen victim to l*****t environmentalists , which doesn't surprise me considering dense population of environmental activist on the peninsula. I'll miss it, as will thousands from around America that visit Sequim as their destination point. As for the background on the name, or restaurant I haven't heard of its founding beyond starting in the mid 1950's
Redding will keep me busy exploring for many years with its vast lake's, rivers, mountains.

For instance, I just finished reading some comments on a blog out of facebook of comment exchanges from some in academia. One showed the picture of a reporter or editor with the Baltimore Sun speaking on the use of the pronoun " they ". He is advocating using "they" instead of he or she....!!!! This is because of the political garbage to be " g****r-neutral " !!!! when it comes to pronouns. Watching the scenes zapping by day by day and being scared out of my wits of the destruction of our culture is beginning to disturb me greatly. It is absolutely insane. For instance, has anyone paid attention to exactly how the verbal exchange between Khriz Kahn and Donald Trump a c t u a l l y came about? From the bits available to me, Kahn began the intimidating with chastising Donald Trump and accusingly asking him if he had Ever read the Constitution of the United States. I have tried to find a video of that encounter without success. Do You, Jack, have any ideas?

Q: Has the quality of education improved since injecting the school populations with huge numbers of unmotivated, resistant, low-level, under-achievers? Has the magnificent educational system raised the actual (not adjusted-for) level of intelligence of those from poor neighborhoods and inadequate parents? Or, have the top levels of high-ability kids' educations been lowered. Have standards risen or fallen since injecting public schools with socialist teachers/professional propagandists?
