If you ask me how long it would take, I have to have the premise that I love myself so that I can love others.
I struggle with loving my enemies, praying for those enemies. I struggle with turning the other cheek. I struggle with going the extra mile and giving my enemy not only my cloak, but my tunic too.
The path of JESUS is humanly impossible.
And I feel just a little guilt for not trying harder to follow.
It's very hard to love the people who have chosen satan as the one to follow.
If I don't love myself and my life, how could I possibly love my neighbor?

To answer you, Sing , it took me many years to love myself and when I knew who I was, it was then I could truly love others..Quite differently I must add...
