He isn't wrong that "The Star Spangled Banner" is a war anthem.

Since football is a war game, I think playing the anthem is appropriate.

The "SSB" was a celebration of persistence and perseverance. It can sung anywhere, for any reason.

So what if the SSB is a "war anthem?"

We are a nation that was founded in war. I think this ANALyst needs to find a career in moveon.org rather than espn. We watch espn to watch football not to hear this a-hole pollute our tv with his anti-American dribble.

Now...now, Ghost. You know somewhere four generations back one of his relatives was a s***e. We must all continue apologizing for something not a single one of us had anything to do with.

Like hell I am!

I ain't apologizing for heritage, for my ethnicity and most of all my total defiance to the institutions of revisionist history.

The less we apologize and the more we tell them to just shut the 'eff-up we could all move on and live longer unless of course these vermin have a perchance of blunt force trauma then I'll be happy to oblige.

Astonishing...simply astonishing. We are going to have to send you back to the PC Education class. Obviously, you were an abysmal student the first time through.

Heheh...try and stop me!

Yeah, I was an abysmal student. I'm an A and B student (mostly B because I h**ed math and music appreciation)but I was much better at grating the nerves of my teachers. I was a rebel and proud of it.

With the new ACA, we may be able to obtain mental counseling to align your thinking to appropriate PC standards and have them pay for it.

It won't work.

After 12 years in the public school system in addition to some college if it hasn't worked now then nothing will.

I am immune to indoctrination and re-education.

I hope the death panel doesn't read these posts or I'm a dead man.
