Sometimes women are so intuitive it is scary. But sometimes it is also a matter of fear which causes them to jump to conclusions, and then they are not right. Anyone who thinks there is no sixth sense has little experience with women. And if you still think there is nothing to it, watch how ants and bees act as soon as the queen is dead. Even ants and bees who are far away from the hive.

I always h**e to disagree with AuntiE (it's a dangerous tactic!!!) but I respectfully suggest this little cartoon might read "My spouse's intuition...."
John seems to have the same gift of intuition concerning me, and trust me, there is nothing feminine about him.

He will learn in time and maybe a few frying pans up alongside the head will help. I think that he was trying to be nice to his significant other.

It seems to me both men and women have intuition, but it works in different ways. Men who are highly successful as business managers and CEO's seem to have a very strong sixth sense about market trends, and so do highly successful women actually. But the sexes often are concerned about different things, (one no better or worse than the other) and focus on what is important to them. Unfortunately, fear, anger, guilt, and such can often disrupt the flow.

That goes beyond intuition and straight to whose the boss. You are coming along fine and someday she may even tell you why you love those things. You love those things because she loves you so much that she doesn't want to see anything happen to you you big lout. Can't you understand love when it hits you in the face. You like the clothes she picks out for you because they flatter you and people give you compliments instead of looking at you like you had four heads. You like the food she fixes for you because it is healthier for you and she wants to keep you around for awhile. The etc. parts is probably taking your vitamins and getting enough rest. Now that I don't have my wife I have figured all this out but at the time I also was stubborn and somewhat resentful. Now I am just regretful that I don't have her anymore. Just love her all the more and be a little puddy cat OK.

I never had to struggle with those things, I just accepted them as gospel since they were espoused by my 'superior being'.sorta' like words from the Mount.

Referring to your wife as "the mount" was less than flattering.

Not after you know that she called him her 'stallion.'
