From Ike’s Desk Republicans need a Cataclysmic Event! July 11, 2016

Unless something cataclysmic happens to the Democrat Party between now and the e******n on November 12, The Republican Party will be no more on the morning of November 13. In politics five months is a life time and that’s what it looks like it’s going to take to turn events around in favor of the Republicans. They are fast running out of time and the Trump campaign will need a huge burst of support from many now unseen sources for a significant revival between now and then.

The weekly polls are out and Trump on average has made little if any gains on Hillary since he became the potential nominee. Trump’s campaign has made no strives to improve those figures. His campaign struggles along with only his die hard supporters responsible for the numbers in the polls that he has had from the very beginning and many of them are now lukewarm to the repeated and worn out and recycled clichés of big beautiful walls; more jobs; greatest v**es ever received; et cetera. These same worn out stump speeches are not moving new supporters to his campaign. Trump’s off teleprompter speeches are not getting it done. A potential P**********l nominee needs to be able to speak in complete sentences. If he were on a high school debating team he would be losing points badly for his team.
The timing of his announcement for his Vice-P**********l running mate may very well head off any r*******n at the upcoming convention, but alone will do nothing for his standing in the November national e******n. As of now he and the Republican Party or losers, and if so, the saddest part is so is our nation and so goes the future for our posterity.

How many remember the morning of November 7, 2012, when you awoke and found for certain that Obama had been reelected; that sickening and stunned realization that we were about to live under four more years of Obama and his Socialist agenda? It was extremely depressing for days afterward and those days turned out to be even worse than we had expected, but the disaster awaiting us on the morning of November 13, 2016 could be far worse and could very well shape the direction of not only our country, but all western nations.

The Leadership of the Republican Party deserves the thrashing they may very well get this November. They have worked very hard to earn it and to some degree the average v****g citizen as well for unconsciously supporting the main characters of a weak and impotent Party. However, our children and grandchildren do not! It is for them and future generations yet unborn that we must do everything possible to avoid a Democrat victory on November 12. That to-do list may have to contain a few miracles, so let’s get started and start praying for them now

Wake up America!

This picture shows republican hope and change 6 wives between them and many girl friends while being married. What happened to the fiscal conservatives in this country. The Right wing loves to talk about Bill Clinton and his indiscretions, but ignore these two buffoons. I agree Clinton is not a strong candidate lots of baggage but it shows in the polls what the party of Lincoln and Reagan have become.
Those polls for Clinton are going to double once Bernie Sanders supports Clinton and explains part of his agenda will be incorporated into the DNC agenda. The GOP are known r****t, and against any kind of women rights and what they have accomplished is the e******n of the first black president twice by more than 50% of v**ers. Now I fear they are handing the first women the presidency and I fear through the stupidity of conspiracy theories, phony scandals, obstruction, war mongering, and totally ignore the real problems facing this country because they spent the last 7 years blocking everything. They have nothing left to campaign on the B******i scandal proven to be foolish the email scandal proved one thing she used bad judgment which Clinton explained 3 years ago. The GOP will stick this country with Clinton for the next 8 years. Do they obstruct for another 8 years or does the republicans get back to discussing fiscal conservatism and family values instead of spreading h**e and r****m. The GOP will continue with trickle down economics and that has been proven to be a disaster for many red states and it was a disgrace under Bush.

(BUT CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY WHERE DID THEY GO.)

Poll: Clinton extends lead over Trump
By Gregory Krieg, CNN

(CNN) — Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by six points, 44% to 38%, in a Fox News poll of registered v**ers released Wednesday, marking an uptick from similar polls released in May and June.

The Fox News results follow a rough patch for the Trump campaign: In May, the presumptive Republican nominee enjoyed a three-point lead in the same survey. But by early June, those numbers had flipped, with Clinton jumping out to a 42% to 39% advantage.

CNN's Poll of Polls -- an average of results for the five most recent publicly released national polls that meet CNN's standards for publication -- has Clinton leading Trump 46% to 40%.

Her lead among women in this latest round -- 51% to 32% -- outpaces Trump's with men, where his edge has dwindled to 10 points, 46% to 36%.

The state of the race remains essentially unchanged when Libertarian Gary Johnson is thrown into the mix.

Johnson wins 10% of the v**e in a three-way competition, taking about equally from Trump and Clinton, whose lead scales down to 41% to 36%.

Despite having seen off his last primary rival nearly eight weeks ago, Trump also lags behind Clinton on the party unity front.

His lead among Republicans is down to 74% from 82% in May. And only 52% of registered GOP v**ers who had previously supported one of his opponents picked the billionaire businessman over Clinton.

On the Democratic side, Bernie Sanders v**ers appear more willing to shed their primary loyalties and back the party's likely nominee.

Two-thirds of the Sanders backers surveyed said they would v**e for Clinton over Trump. Overall, 83% of Democrats plan to support Clinton in November.

The Fox News' poll was conducted between June 26 and 28 among 1,017 randomly chosen registered v**ers nationwide, and has a margin of error of plus-or-minus 3 percentage points.
