Any advice, experience, hints, do's & don'ts...
No Smart-ass remark...UNLESS it's funny.

I went to dentures about 35 years ago and for the first 7 years it was hell. Then someone recommended I open my check book and see a top line prostodontist. I did and no more problems. Good luck.

------------good luck make sure they have it adjusted right ..i do not know why they have them bigger than the old ones my mom got a pair in early 70's or late 60's & she used them till 2010 & they kept hurting her so she had to get a new pair they had to adjust them 2 X & she wanted to get a 3rd adjustment i thought to wait & she really done complain about them tell your doc to make sure to match the size you are now !!!! not what they want you to be ..that is my thought on that ..i never got none yet hope not too ..be carful with the stuff that makes it stick i find it to buy the small tubes the will not clog but the big tubes do before you use them i think it is fixa dint not fun when they clog
buy polident cleaning stuff ..your limited on tooth care no more tooth paste got @ least 100 to pick from not when ya got dentures so forget that if ya got some give them a way oh i know christmas gifts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a bunch of old tubes that be funny with little left my uncle had big problems he had accident yrs ago & he had to wait for his teeth bout 6 months im sure you dont but that would suck .. WELL GOOD LUCK
& TAKE A BITE OUT ON OBAMA FOR US !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

If your getting teeth pulled they tell you take dentures out at night bad move take them out and clean your mouth and denture and put those things back in. If you take them out and keep them out at night your gums swell you will pay big time because you will hardly be able to get them back in and if you get them in it's going to hurt. clean your mouth several times a day to promote healing by washing mouth with( salt Water )

Wow, relax and get your blood pressure checked. If I ever have to get prosthetic teeth, I'll have to remember not to ask for your advise!

probably too late for my advice

take care of your teeth
keep them as long as possible
if you lose them--eat
soup
oatmeal

and maybe strained veggies
