Because Obama has purged the military of loyal Americans.
Obama started asking military and law enforcement officers, if they were given an order from the president, to fire on American citizens, would they follow orders and do so?

All those that said that they would not, were passed over for promotion or pushed out.
All those that said that they would fire on American citizens, were promoted.
