Brian Wilson & The Beach Boys...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCYw3HrtXAQ&list=RDCCYw3HrtXAQ#t=54~ GOOD MEMORIES ~ 4th of July 2016 ~
In 1965, an emotionally charged Brian Wilson isolated himself from the rest of The Beach Boys and set about writing Pet Sounds, the album that was to become the band's most celebrated work. The centrepiece of the LP was the love song God Only Knows. Written in collaboration with his friend Tony Asher, the song explores the complexity of human love, acknowledging that while a relationship may not always be perfect (he agonized over the song's opening line for a long time), when you have found that special person, then it's impossible to contemplate life without him or her.
Extremely musically complex, and featuring the band's trademark multi-part harmonies, the song is considered to be one of the greatest love songs of all time and remains a favorite choice for both weddings and funerals to this day. Band member Al Jardine has spoken of how a strong sense of spirituality informed much of the band's work and it is never more evident that in God Only Knows. Please enjoy this classic song from the 60s.

Wasn't the the one that was the first beach boy to die. I believe he drowned and if I am correct about what I believe happened this happened at Delray divers in Marina Delray one of the beach areas of Los Angeles. Delray divers was owned by a homely looking redhaired Jewish guy named Steve Goldberg who was also a cocaine dealer. Steve Goldberg was screwing the love of my life who wasn't having sex with me although I was much better looking than Goldberg, I presume because I wasn't giving her cocaine. The logical conclusion which I can't prove is that Brian Williams was getting his cocaine from Goldberg and that's why he was specifically at the Delray divers probably getting his cocaine there on that day from Steve. Just saying. I could be wrong but I'll bet that's what was involved as to how he came to meet his death on that day. He drowned and was overly inebriated. ------------------------ Oops. I just looked it up, that was his brother Dennis in 1963
