very interesting as I was station there as a U.S. Army MP. I never drank wine until I drank Bordeaux 'Vin Rouge" Sixty years later and could find no better. At that time the locals made it and sold it for twenty cents a bottle provided you had your own bottle. a glass was twenty francs . ( a nickle US ) I would guess that things have changed since. Then twenty minutes with a 'Lady' cost you two bucks before payday and after payday eight bucks.
