The hippie revolution of the 60’s
The fruit of the free love movement has been a failure every way you look at it. The family is in serious decline. We have women having kids by different men and men having kids by different women. I believe the term is baby mommas and baby daddies. We no longer grow up expecting to become parents ourselves. We have sexually transmitted diseases that can kill you. It is a proven fact that the best, the healthiest, the most secure way to raise a child is in a family with a father and mother. Children raised by single parents are at the top of every negative statistic and at the bottom of every positive statistic. They lead in dropouts and early pregnancies and lag in graduations and college attendance. If you only have sex with your spouse you don’t need a condom. We used to take our children’s lives into consideration. We used to desire a better life for them than ourselves. To think that the civil rights movement of the 50’s and 60’s did more harm for black people than good is a tough thing to consider but before blacks started protesting we were the largest minority in this country. Now we are the second largest minority. What baffles me is that these morons who ruined this country by abandoning the old way now expect to be looked at like they didn’t ruin this nation.

Here's a fail from the 1950's: "In God We Trust" is the official motto of the United States. It was adopted as the nation's motto in 1956 as an alternative or replacement to the unofficial motto of E pluribus unum...

We've been goin' to shit ever since.....

And the Pledge of Allegiance was written by a Socialist..Minister..who didn't bother to put "under God" in it.

I guess you missed my point, it seems that starting in the age Eisenhower, we "surrendered" our nation to the trappings of recognizing God, and it didn't work-get it?

This nation has never followed God, it policed what it thought God wanted.
