A Glass of Wine . . .

To my friends who enjoy a glass of wine and those who don't and are always seen with a bottle of water in their hand,

Ben Franklin said: "In wine there is wisdom ; In beer there is freedom ; In water there is bacteria."

In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. Coli) - bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop annually.

However, we DO NOT run that risk when drinking wine and beer because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and fermenting.

Remember:

Water = Poop,

Wine = Health

Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of s**t.

VERIFICATION: BOTH THE HOUSE AND SENATE DRINK A LOT OF WATER WHILE IN SESSION.

Thank you for the joke. It was great. Now for the Sangria. I would say, out on the patio, but it is still too hot out there today so we will have to stay inside since it is about 110 on our patio.

At that temp I would not even turn on the AC. Today it is only 103 but tomorrow we will have a cool down to 98. We are starting to get some of the humidity and that is what I do not like. Hope you have a great day.

I wouldn't drink tap water for anything.....I also won't waste my money buying "spring water" either..What ever floated in that spring before extracting that water you're also drinking..

I will only drink water labeled "reverse-osmosis filtered" because then I know its been properly cleaned...98% cleaned compared to others sold on the market...

Was involved in some case research with a state and what is extracted from our "drinking water" is truly sickening.. Arsenic, every chemical dumped by the manufactures, more parasites and bacteria than you can even imagine, chlorine levels way too high, etc..No sir, not reverse osmosis these lips aren't touching it..

Then again, I will sip a glass of wine or two even, sometimes and love it..
