The first otter was created with the ability to swim and the ability to teach her offspring how to swim. God, who created us all, gave that ability to the first otter, just as He gave the first dogs the ability to hunt and teach their offspring how to do that efficiently. And wild dogs, wolves, coyotes and foxes do have to learn how to hunt.

Awe, son of a gun npp, you adding to the mindless trivia here too... I like it!! Thank you for that succinct summation and obvious t***h...
Here, I'll add a little too~~
Otter is a common name for a carnivorous mammal in the subfamily Lutrinae. The 13 extant otter species are all semiaquatic, aquatic or marine, with diets based on fish and invertebrates. Lutrinae is a branch of the weasel family Mustelidae, which also includes badgers, honey badgers, martens, minks, polecats, weasels and wolverines.
And did you know~~Etymology
The word otter derives from the Old English word otor or oter. This, and cognate words in other Indo-European languages, ultimately stem from the Proto-Indo-European language root *wódr̥, which also gave rise to the English word "water"...Pretty cool isn't it~~

That is not trivia, it is adding to your knowledge of the world. you would be surprised how often you can add that small peice of knowledge to other information to help form a more inclusive picture of god's world and His creation.
I take that back
YOU WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED as your common sense and intelligence will allow you to add to the knowledge seamlessly.

Please define mindless trivia, and why you believe what I posted falls under that definition. Oh wait. You were just trolling. Troll on.
