: I*****l I*********n---37gh., b40
You know, two of the really hot topics these days, which have been brought to light by Donald Trump’s campaign are our porous southern border and our problem with immigrants coming from the Middle East, most of whom are Muslims. We have to assume at least some percentage of them are radical Muslims.
Regardless of what anyone thinks, the Muslim issue is a really big issue, and I’m actually personally glad that Donald Trump has brought this issue up in this e******n cycle because it is important.
Now, I’ve got nothing against immigrants. All of us were immigrants, or our ancestors were sometime or other. I live in an area that is mostly immigrants, so I deal with them everyday. But I’m an American. I believe in obeying the law, and I believe that the laws that exist in this land, at least most of them, exist for a reason. It really bugs me when people go around these laws and break the laws intentionally and then get away with it.
That’s the whole problem with i*****l i*********n. It’s not that they’re coming; it’s that they’re breaking the law to do so.
The idea I've had is that they could get something like a green card, called a guest-worker card, where they can come and work for six months out of the year, and then return home. That way they could be migrant farm workers or seasonal work in construction and then go back home.
We had something like that, called the Bracero Program, which existed from 1942 to 1956. It was very successful. About 400,000 Mexicans came to the United States per year for seasonal employment and worked here. There’s a huge, huge difference between that and what’s going on today.
Those people came, worked, and went back home. They came here legally, and I think that’s the biggest point. They came here legally. Along with that, they came here to work. They didn’t come here to get on the welfare rolls; they didn’t come here to get their "stampillas" (food stamps); they didn’t come her to get Section 8 housing; they didn’t come here just so that they could give birth to their children here in the United States, paid for by our tax dollars; allowing their children to be American citizens.
Any immigration program that brings people to the United States specifically to work has got to be there because we need those workers, unlike the current program; I think they call it the H2B program. Under that, they’re bringing workers into the United States, which are taking away jobs from Americans; literally.
Like the whole deal about these workers that have been brought to the United States by the Disney Corporation quite literally taking jobs from Americans. We know that because the Americans that were in those jobs were required to train their replacements who came from overseas on the H2B program. I’m sorry if it offends somebody, but in my mind that is criminal abuse of that program. That’s taking advantage of a program that was put in place to bring workers that are needed and using it to punish American citizens.
; I seriously doubt Disney is the only company doing something like that. That’s probably just the one that we hear about, but there’s got to be other companies doing that as well.
We are still the world leader in inventing new technology and developing new systems; coming up with new ideas, having fresh breakthroughs, and advancing technology worldwide.
Germany, which back in WWII and before WWII was probably the most technologically advanced country in the world, has lost that as well. Of course, a lot of that was because of WWII. Both during and after WWII, a lot of Germany’s scientists and engineers were repatriated to the United States or to Russia, taking their knowledge with them.
So who does that leave? The Chinese? No, the Chinese are great at copying stuff, and they do a pretty good job at mass manufacturing; of course, at least part of that is because they have so many people over there and they have them work for so little money. But basically, technological advance comes from the United States.
But one of the things we’ve got going for us, which I think no other country in the world has, is our ability to think outside the box. That’s a very American trait, and that is what has given us the ability to create so many advances.
The United States has led the world in technology because of our ability to look at problems from different ways, to think outside the box, and come up with new things.
But yet, companies are importing people who have technological training from other countries to take those technology jobs away from Americans. And I’m sorry, that’s just not right.
But that’s not really the issue here. The issue is that we’ve got so many people coming to the United States right now that are taking jobs that Americans need. We have gone from somewhere around 17 to 19 million immigrants in the United States at the end of the 1970s to 69 million immigrants in the United States today.
Current estimates on i*****l i*******ts; I’m specifically speaking of Mexican i*****l i*******ts here, is over 13 million people. Those people are either working low-paying jobs or they’re receiving money on the government dole.
It didn’t used to be possible for i*****l i*******ts to receive food stamps, Section 8 housing, and free medical coverage, and all of this stuff they’re receiving right now; but under Obama it has all become very possible. So your and my tax dollars end up paying for these people, who really don’t even belong here; and they end up receiving benefits for things that sometimes we have trouble affording for our own families.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t afford Obamacare. I actually go to the doctor in Mexico because I can’t afford to go to the doctor here in the United States. How is that for a backwards way to look at things?
But actually, Mexican doctors are pretty darn good, at least the ones I’ve gone to have been. And they’re whole medical system is a whole lot less expensive than ours, including Mexican pharmaceuticals which, as far as I can tell, are the same as ours, just a different package.
There are whole sections of the border where literally, border agents are not allowed to patrol, not allowed to pick people up, not allowed to arrest them because Obama doesn’t want to stop i*****l i*******ts from crossing the border in those areas.
They’ve essentially given them safe zones. You know like they’ve got these ‘sanctuary cities’ for these people who come here. Places where they’re not going to get arrested; at least as long as they stay in those cities. They’ve done that with zones of the border where they’ve made it so that these people can cross in these areas, and they don’t have to worry about running into law enforcement; they don’t have to worry about getting captured; they don’t have to worry about getting kicked back across the border back to where they came from.
That’s criminal; not on the part of the Mexicans coming across, that’s criminal on the part of the leadership of our country that is making those types of demands on the border patrol agents and not allowing them to do their jobs.
Last summer when the news media was exploding about all of these poor, refugee
"children" coming from Central America. Two-thirds of those ‘children’ were 16 to 18-year-old males with gang tattoos. Now legally they qualify as children, so they were correct in what they said, but the pictures they were showing in the newspapers and on the news programs didn’t match up with what was really happening.
So now what do we have? We’ve got gang members here in the United States who are committing crimes and getting away with it.
All they have to do is flee to one of those sanctuary cities, and they’re perfectly safe. Nobody is going to arrest them; nobody is going to send them across the border. They’re not even going to do any jail time. They are going to get away with their crime. America is losing her place as a sovereign country; and the whole concept of citizenship here in the United States is going right out of the window.
The most central, basic part of citizenship is the right to v**e, yet we have places like California that are giving drivers licenses to i*****l i*******ts so that they have identification to v**e. The city of New York is even passing laws allowing i*****l a***ns to v**e in their e******ns.
But you know what’s even worse than that? Our porous southern border is being used by terrorist organizations to infiltrate our country. Last summer, ten ISIS soldiers were caught in McAllen, Texas who had come across illegally, as i*****l a***ns, from Mexico. There’s little record of this because in the logs kept by the border patrol, anyone who is not a Mexican gets put down as an OTM (that means other than Mexican).
In other words, there’s absolutely no way of telling how many potential terrorists have come across. If they caught ten of them in McAllen last summer, I will guarantee you there are a hundred more that slipped through. Basically the border patrol manages to catch about one-tenth of the people that come across the border illegally. That’s it. That’s all they manage to do, about one-tenth.
American federal law enforcement officers that wear a border patrol uniform are being told if they don’t like the way things are, they should quit and go find another job. In other words, "help these people break the law or get out of here because we don’t want anything to do with you." Sounds like a criminal conspiracy to me.
Just the other day, eight Syrians were captured in Laredo, Texas coming across the border illegally.
I’m not saying that every Central American that comes across the border is dangerous; I’m really not even saying that every Muslim that comes across the border is dangerous.
But some of them are, and with somewhere around one-third of the world’s 1.6 million Muslims being radical Muslims that want to take over the world and institute Sharia Law wherever they go and who also support the idea of terrorism, there are hundreds of thousands of Muslims who are willing to come to our country, just like they’re going to Europe, for the purpose of violence. That is degrading the security of those countries in Europe, and it’s doing the same thing here in the United States for those that manage to come.
Anyone that wants to give amnesty to i******s that come into this country, breaking our law, is saying I want to encourage people to break our laws. Anyone that wants to bring in more Muslim refugees without a reasonable process to vet them to find out if they have any ties to terrorism is saying I don’t care about United States security or the security of the American people.
Anyone who is willing to let gang members or drug traffickers into this country as residents, citizens, guest-workers, or anything else is asking for more crime on our streets and more American citizens harmed by those people. Anyone who is saying to bring in more guest-workers without making sure Americans have jobs first is saying they don’t care about the American people, and all they care about are these people from other countries.
In real life, we have to face problems like i*****l i*********n; we have to face problems like Muslims that want to take over our country. In real life, we have to face the problems of i*****l i*******ts, who happen to be criminals as well, that want to rape, steal, and destroy.
I know some great Mexican people, intelligent people, people of character who have come from Mexico, who live in the United States, who start businesses, who are successful here, who are a valuable part of our country. Are all Muslims bad? Absolutely not. We’ve got Muslims here in this country who have come here and established businesses, established homes, and they’ve become a vital part of our country. Those people are great.
This country was built on immigration, but it’s always been immigration of people who came here for the opportunity. Not people who came to live off welfare, but the opportunity to build their own life. That’s what this country is about; that’s what this country was founded upon.
