Attorney General Loretta Lynch Confused by 14th Amendment

Attorney General Loretta Lynch says its OK to ban gun sales to all individuals on the No Fly List and the Terrorist Watch List.

Her suggestion comes just days after the horrific shooting in Orlando, Florida in which a single Islamic terrorist k**led 49 and wounded 53.

Democrats argue that a ban on gun sales to individuals on government watchlists could have prevented such an attack, while FBI Director James Comey argues that Lynch’s “no-fly, no-buy” plan will hinder investigations of potential terrorists.

“The amendment gives the Justice Department an important additional tool to prevent the sale of guns to suspected terrorists by licensed firearms dealers while ensuring protection of the department’s operational and investigative sensitivities,” said DOJ spokeswoman Dena Iverson.

All arguments aside, Lynch’s suggestion is a clear violation of the 14th Amendment and its due process clause.

“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside,” reads the 14th Amendment. Furthermore, "no state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

The 14th Amendment was enacted in 1868 following the Civil War, with its main purpose being to establish equal civil rights among former s***es. Today, all American citizens enjoy equal rights – including the right to own firearms. The No Fly List, which was enacted after 9/11, is prone to false positives and has been repeatedly criticized on due process and civil liberties grounds. The Terrorist Watch List is a separate list containing the names of more than 2 million individuals - at least 5% of which are permanent US residents.

Banning the sale of guns to the individuals on these undependable lists is a clear and direct violation of the US Constitution.

Lynch’s “no-fly, no-buy” agenda has forged an unlikely alliance between the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) and the NRA, the latter of which has agreed to meet with Donald Trump to discuss “not allowing people on the Terrorist Watch List, or the No Fly List, to buy guns.”

"The NRA believes that terrorists should not be allowed to purchase or possess firearms, period,” said Chris Cox, executive director of the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action. Cox rightly argues that “anyone on a terror watchlist who tries to buy a gun should be thoroughly investigated by the FBI and the sale delayed while the investigation is ongoing. If an investigation uncovers evidence of terrorist activity or involvement, the government should be allowed to immediately go to court, block the sale, and arrest the terrorist.”

Cox also has the right of it when he says: "At the same time, due process protections should be put in place that allow law-abiding Americans who are wrongly put on a watchlist to be removed. That has been the position of Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) and a majority of the US Senate. Sadly, President Obama and his allies would prefer to play politics with this issue.”

Loretta Lynch will dominate Sunday news shows this weekend as the FBI continues to investigate the Orlando shooting.

Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution

Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. Lynch is unqualified to be AG and yet if Hillary is elected she will be put on the Supreme Court and Clarence Thomas (born '48) just announced he was retiring, Ruth Bader Ginsburg (born '33), Anthony Kennedy (born '36), Stephen Breyer (born '38) all need to retire or die, if Trump is not the President America will be what Saul Alinsky wanted a Pro-C*******t Socialist Country, NO longer the pretext of a Republic... Like The Man Says: "Good Luck America"!!!

Well portrayed and factually correct..The name gamer to it all is that~No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. which the far left want to completely usurp and just say well if your on a list then no gun..Due process of law should first be followed in being on that list and from there, let them plead their respective positions and have a legal determination of eligibility from that..But to "arbitrarily" deny without foundation in fact violates our right of due process, period..Back to that give an in and a mile is taken...

For the record I support the concept of "if a proven threat put you on that watch list, then that person should not be able to purchase weapons either and should be brought up on charges as a terrorist"..One way to start weeding them out and making it clear we will not make it easy for them at all......

As for Lynch she is BO's placement and she isn't about to go against his wants........The both of them obviously see it is perfectly clear to violate the very foundation of our rights, of our Constitution and of our ability to have weapons, period...When hell freezes over!!!

Are you serious??? I did not hear this, then again,I wasn't around TVs or radios' today....Where did you hear this from?? Now I have to go look for something on it~~

This is all planned out by the Left. ALL of it like a broadway play. Lets take the heat off Hillary and put it someplace else. Each time a mass shooting happens it is due to someone getting close to arrest or give evidence about Obama or Hillary. They realize they cannot k**l off the message and at times cannot even k**l the messenger...so the next tactic is to create a havoc filled news story to shift away the average person's point of view!

Isn't that a hell of a catch 22? We demand that the Government keep us safe from terrorists - unless they happen to be US citizens, in which case we'll just take our chances. Even though almost all terrorist attacks since 9/11 have been committed by US citizens, we still hoot and holler about ISIS, Muslims and Islamic extremists - as though THEY are the threat. I suppose it's easier to h**e "furriners" than it is our own citizens, but that's a little delusional at best, down right stupid at worst.

Had the Congress actually done some immigration reform 6 years ago when they promised it, maybe one or two fewer Muslim type personnel would have made it here. Of course, that wouldn't have had any effect on the Orlando shooter - because he was BORN here, making him a natural born citizen. That being the case, it's entirely irrelevant as to whether he was a Jihadist or not, since as a citizen, he was free to do as he pleases and believe as he pleases. I guess the only solution is to determine that those citizens of Muslim ethnicity, have lessor rights than Christian or Jewish citizens, then we can apply "special rules" and bypass that catch 22.

It's a hell of a thing when crazy people use our own laws against us isn't it?

All arguments aside, Lynch’s suggestion is a clear violation of the 14th Amendment and its due process clause.

“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside,” reads the 14th Amendment. Furthermore, "no state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

The 14th Amendment was enacted in 1868 following the Civil War, with its main purpose being to establish equal civil rights among former s***es. Today, all American citizens enjoy equal rights – including the right to own firearms. The No Fly List, which was enacted after 9/11, is prone to false positives and has been repeatedly criticized on due process and civil liberties grounds. The Terrorist Watch List is a separate list containing the names of more than 2 million individuals - at least 5% of which are permanent US residents.

Banning the sale of guns to the individuals on these undependable lists is a clear and direct violation of the US Constitution.

Lynch’s “no-fly, no-buy” agenda has forged an unlikely alliance between the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) and the NRA, the latter of which has agreed to meet with Donald Trump to discuss “not allowing people on the Terrorist Watch List, or the No Fly List, to buy guns.”

"The NRA believes that terrorists should not be allowed to purchase or possess firearms, period,” said Chris Cox, executive director of the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action. Cox rightly argues that “anyone on a terror watchlist who tries to buy a gun should be thoroughly investigated by the FBI and the sale delayed while the investigation is ongoing. If an investigation uncovers evidence of terrorist activity or involvement, the government should be allowed to immediately go to court, block the sale, and arrest the terrorist.”

Cox also has the right of it when he says: "At the same time, due process protections should be put in place that allow law-abiding Americans who are wrongly put on a watchlist to be removed. That has been the position of Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) and a majority of the US Senate. Sadly, President Obama and his allies would prefer to play politics with this issue.”

Loretta Lynch will dominate Sunday news shows this weekend as the FBI continues to investigate the Orlando shooting.

I'm sure this question has been around Mr. D, but if an individual appears on those lists that were put there for LEGITIMATE reasons, than why aren't they in jail or in the case of immigrants sent back to their respective countries instead of being allowed to just walk around in this country?

Veterans are already targets for confiscation by getting labeled mentally incompetent because of PTSD. If a vet has reported almost any type of inability to handle affairs or any PTSD, the VA is ILLEGALLY giving medical information and it is being used to deny vets their 2nd Amendment rights!
