What's good for Carter is bad for Trump

Some try to say Carter kicking out Muslims in 1980 was justified and Trump is a devil for saying he would limited future visa from areas noted to be tied to Muslim radicalism.

Here is the history- The Shiite radials of the Muslim faith took 44 Americans hostage in our Embassy in 1980 so Carter wanted to reduce the threat somehow. A few were k**led but most survived.---without a doubt we can say this is VERY similar to “a radical Muslim aided by many in the community, Dad, Wife, Brother-in law, Sister, and possibly many more” to take 200 Americans hostage in 2016. Many were k**led while his supporters giggled.

Carter took 3 actions to eliminate Shia Muslims from America.
1. He tried to deport Muslim students who had ties to the Shiite radials or misrepresented terms of entry—from his announcement and resolve almost 6000 “students” left the country.
2. Iranians were banned from entering the United States unless they oppose the radical Shiite Islamist regime or had a medical emergency."
3. The third was an order to end all future visas for Iranians [generally most of the Shia population outside of Iraq and Bahrain] and to stop issuing most new visas. Interestingly the main difference between Shia and the Sunni of Saudi Arabia, Isis, Boko Haram, Muslim Brotherhood etc. is that Shia name their children to honor the family of Mohammed [the Main name cited is Hussein], while Sunni do not [While we don’t know the quantity of the rate of Muslim immigration has been increasing since September 11. Between 2001 and 2013, the United States permanently resettled 1.5 million Muslim immigrants throughout the United States. Recently this number has more than doubled and Muslims are feeling much more comfortable infiltrating our country. So a rough number Carter push out was between 10 and 20 thousand per year as Shiites are mostly from Iran, Bahrain , and Iraq]
Some do-do head lawyers say the following:
1. I’m paraphrasing here “Carter’s actions were against Shia rather than Sunni so they are completely different.”
2. "Carter acted after the Shia government accepted and defended the action by militants.” But Trump acted after similar Sunni groups defended the actions—in fact after 4 similar terror acts were praised by the Sunnis ON AMERICAN SOIL not including the twin tower assault.
3. Carter’s action was “classic, major, state-to-state confrontation, based on a f**grant violation of diplomatic immunity---[similar to the State to State violation of the Sunnis k*****g our people in our embassy in Libya.
4. I added this one-Carter’s action was not initiated by actual terrorism on our own land like the 4 major Sunni terrorist attacks, but somehow his actions were still honorable.
5. Lawyers also press that “Carter invoked a host of counter-measures long recognized as appropriate under international law." [--- Besides Trump’s hands are small- again my comment].

Some try to say Carter kicking out Muslims in 1980... (show quote)

So Carter targeted Muslims or nationalities? Nice Try but Trump is targeting a religion and that's why it will never fly...

And welcome to OPP.
