End of conservative Supreme Court: Clarence Thomas may be next to leave

By Paul Bedard (@SecretsBedard) • 6/19/16 11:40 AM

Justice Clarence Thomas, a reliable conservative v**e on the Supreme Court, is mulling retirement after the p**********l e******n, according to court watchers.

Thomas, appointed by former President George H.W. Bush and approved by the Senate after a bitter confirmation, has been considering retirement for a while and never planned to stay until he died, they said. He likes to spend summers in his RV with his wife.

His retirement would have a substantial impact on control of the court. The next president is expected to immediately replace the seat opened by the death of conservative Justice Antonin Scalia, providing a one-v**e edge in the court that is currently divided 4-4.

Should Thomas leave, that slight majority would continue if Donald Trump becomes president. If it's Hillary Clinton, then she would get the chance to flip two Republican seats, giving the liberals a 6-3 majority.

And, conservatives fear, that could switch to a 7-2 majority if Republican Justice Anthony Kennedy, already a swing v**e, retires. He will be 80 next year.

We recently reported that if Clinton wins the presidency, her majority liberal court could stay in power at least until 2050.

You better get on your knees and pray that never happens. Cuz your life will become a living hell bottom of the totem pole. Think not ask the North Koreans how well it's working for them. Ignorance is bliss and your in a complete trance hoping for utopia. What a laugh.

Not the North Koreans Jim, look at the folks in Sweeden, Finland and New Zealand to see how a left of center representative democratic government works for its citizens. Most of them are happy patriots who would be loathe to walk away from the opportunities they enjoy as a result of world class public education, infrastructure and health care. They are certainly not without some problems but they enjoy the results of smart policy US citizens could benefit from greatly.

Yea, right, libturd; like Cuba and Venezuela!!! And I just saw a video of a car mowing down a whole crowd of ungrateful, radical, "Jihad" SOB's in Switzerland. You, libturd, remind me of the secular liberal progressive world MSM in 1940ish, explaining to America how "Adolf was the best thing to ever happen to Germany," throwing well-advertised shindigs at Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Plaza and Radio City Music Hall, Swastikas hung from every podium, and "there was just a slight problem with the Jews." Hummmmmmmmm, libturd, that's YOUR secular liberal progressive crowd, huh!!! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TRUMP!!!

You have no idea what you're asking for. All you do is sit there and write as if you have a brain but if the libs ever get full control of SCOTUS the U.S. will become a second rate country, just like the Bible says. And you, fellow, will become another s***e to the establishment.
