They were met, first at Lexington Green by a force consisting of 38 men, then, at the North Bridge (Concord)
by 450 "farmers". That day the best equipped, best trained army in the world was soundly defeated by a force
that one British officer described as a "mere mob without order or discipline".
The American lost 93, k**led, wounded or missing that day; the British 273.
Now why do you think that the Bill of Rights contains Article II?

I understand the commanding sentiment. But this is not 1775. Paranoia seems to fuel most on the Right from the wisdom of reasonable gun-control. CONFISCATION! So, let countless people die because of a bogey-man fear in the future? Besides that, the 2nd Amendment recognizes the right of each and every state to have a well regulated m*****a--but not inherently the right for every citizen to keep and bear arms. The Federal Government may not infringe upon each and every state having a well regulated m*****a. How "well" each state may regulate their citizens is up in the air. But gun ownership is to be WELL REGULATED! as per the Constitution, which you "patriots" dearly love and respect.

No matter how many times you mental defectives lose this argument, you just can't let go can you.

The U.S. Supreme Court decision upholding the District of Columbia v Heller was UNANIMOUS!

The right of the people to keep and bear arms is an INDIVIDUAL RIGHT.

You're wrong. You have to understand what REGULATED meant in the context of the draft of the Constitution. It meant well supplied, NOT restricted as it might mean today.

So is a******n and gay marriage, right? And corporations are people, right? And Christian pharmacist must dispense contraceptives, right? And a******n clinics do not have to conform to hospital regulations, right? You have to agree to all that if what SCOTUS said on guns is true.

All INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS need regulations!
