As I read Jayme's courageous story, Arch, I remembered your discussing some aspects of it when we last had a meal together on my most recent trip to Amarillo. With my recollection of your explaining what you did at that time, everything became very much more visual to me.

Many of you know Archie and his liveliness here along with his very practical approach of "life" as it is and how we work within it...While we may not know him personally, we do know him..While we may not know his Jayme, we all have a Mother, a Sister, an Aunt, a Daughter...You are about to meet her...

ACC (Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma) is a rare and unique form of cancer that is known to be unpredictable in nature, with a typical growth pattern of being slow and gradual, but over time can be progressive, insidious and relentless.

These words are from Jayme~~Basically it's an aggressive cancer that is pretty rare and loves to spread but can be treatable and isn't always fatal. At this point I have no idea how far its gone, where its at, what level or grade it is. I don't know if I have 30 years to live or 3 days....

Jayme is a fighter, I can tell you that first hand..And she is not about to give up, nor is her family and certainly not "Dad"....Jayme needs our support in love, prayer and yes, financial.. She does have insurance, the Obama Care and its been one up hill battle for her from the beginning..None of it important this minute...

My purpose is to ask if any of you can to please donate for this more than worthy cause, a daughter named Jayme, that is Archie's everything in life...

Thank you for sharing this. When something this serious comes along, it is time to not think about "politics" but time to think about having enough common sense and caring to do something to help. My Wife does all the pay pal, but we damned sure will use that gofundme link and donate for that young Lady, and I sure hope that Archie will know we have his back on this!

I don't know what kind of cancer she has. She didn't say. I believe I've mentioned something, before, known as UVB treatments. It has been proven to be effective against certain cancers. It's very inexpensive, and there is probably a treatment center nearby. No insurance hassles either. Pay them, and they do the procedure. Multiple treatments are required, and can be used alongside any other treatments. There are no drugs and no side effects. I believe a single treatment is about 50 dollars.

A little more about the procedure. They draw a small amount of blood and expose it to a controlled amount of UV light. Then they put it back in. What this does is jump start your i****e s****m. It puts it into overdrive. There is over 50 years of case studies for this procedure. It's not a miracle cure, but it can work miracles, if that makes any sense. It has actually treated cancers that resist standard medical treatments.

Read up on it, then try to find a doctor who knows more about it. They should be able to give you more information.

EDIT: OK. She did mention what type of cancer it is. I'll do a little research and see if UVB works on it.

Another edit: OK. I guess my browser, or my connection is acting up. I just read the rest of her blog. Looks like the worst is over. Keep this info in mind, if things don't work out. I know it sounds like quackery, but I've seen a lot of case studies about this treatment. If nothing else, keep it in mind as a last resort. I'll be praying for her.
