You are very correct. My Wife has her Carry Concealed Permit. I totally believe all of you ladies should know how to shoot, use a firearm in a "combat setting-(means you know when and how to shoot in a variety of well trained responses) and to be as safe as humanly possible.

My wife has a CCW and knows how to use her pistol. I met her while we were both waiting discharge in the army. She had just finished her 6 month reserve training and I was was awaiting discharge after being wounded. The military taught her how to use and not to be afraid of a firearm. I'm also a retired law enforcement officer. During my time as a city cop and a deputy sheriff I encourged woman to arm themsleves after learning how use a firearm. I also encouraged them to learn how to use a knife. I have found most people are more afrain of a knife than a gun.
