On March 15, 1917 (NS) Tsar Nicholas II stated, at the end of his abdication speech, "And may the Lord God help Russia!"

On May 13, 1917, two months later---to the day---three Portuguese children viewed the miracle of Fatima (notice that God chose Fatima for revelation; --Fatima was the daughter of Mohammed--do you suppose we are supposed to try to live together more or less peacefully?). Did God manifest himself as the Blessed Virgin, so as to prevent fear on the part of the children?.

But anyway, three secrets were told to these children, each to be shown to the world at certain times in the future. The Second Secret was revealed to the world in 1929:

"To save them [poor sinners who are on the road to hell], God wishes to establish in the world devotion to My Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. The war is going to end; but if people do not cease offending God, a worse war will break out during the reign of Pius XI. When you see a night illumined by an unknown light, know that this is the great sign given you by God that He is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions against the Church and against the Holy Father.
To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of R********n on the First Saturdays. If My requests are heeded, Russia will be converted and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions against the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated."

There have been many interpretations of this passage; Catholics believing Russia needed to be converted to Catholicism in order to be saved. That is absurd. Russia has a perfectly capable religion of its own.

What God wanted, I believe, was for the world to remember Russia, and the trials and travails she was undergoing, and had undergone in the past (for the world had closed its doors on Russia after the abdication of the Tsar). And also, so that the world would eventually be able to wage war against the utter evil of C*******m. The references to "Russia's errors" were the sins of Socialism and C*******m. And they weren't errors of her people; they were the errors of a few fanatics, madmen--the Bolsheviks, headed by Lenin, then later, Stalin.

"...great sign given you by God that He is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions against the Church and against the Holy Father." This phrase actually refers to the fact that the actions of humans would inevitably, not because of the God's punishment, bring about the consequences she spoke of. (Sister Lucy, later in the 1980's, said much the same.)

There is no longer a Soviet Union. Whether you want to believe it or not, there is a democratic Russian Federation, led by a democratically and legitimately elected head of state, Vladimir Putin.

It is scary times. My hope is that God is still with this country through it's trials. The leaders we have now this includes hillary want nothing to do with God. They are doing their best to wipe him from this country. As they do our suffering increases and country is slowly crumbling into evil

Really? Then Comrade Zyuganov and the C*******t Party of the Russian Federation are just figments of my imagination?

Remember, the words, but not the acts, of C*******m are attractive to the point of lethality. We must all learn to read between the lines of Comrade Zyuganov's beautiful and practical-seeming words.

The idea that we can all have equal "stuff" is very attractive to the poor/hungry/etc. That promise can make them do many things to stop the evil of those who have and refuse to share. They can be made to think that they deserve their fair share, that those who have did nothing to obtain what they have, that it is their duty to share and help the down trodden. It's a Jesus message, even to the point of him telling a rich man to sell all he has and to give it to the poor. But even Jesus, in his moment of indulgence, said there would always be poor, struggling through life.

I think, sometimes, that Jesus was a bit misinterpretated.

He certainly didn't intend for people to sell their souls for sustenance, which is the upshot of taking from others what you can earn for yourself.

Actually, I'm doubting he ever even said most of what the "good book" says he did. So obviously, there will be varied interpretations of his "words."

Well, you know what St. Paul said.

I knew that would get you!

I believe he cautioned the Romans or Colossians or whoever, to try to get along and not break into factions, each faction thinking God would like THEM better. Well, I paraphrased, but you get the drift.

Like children.

Waiting to reappear in America. Obama admitted he was a Marxist, in one of his "memoirs"--either "The Audacity of Hope" or "Dreams From My Father".

Somewhere, somewhen, people have lost their sense of "p***e of accomplishment." And that kind of p***e is a GOOD thing. Contributes to the development of a sense of personal worth and value.

(And that's for you, too, you Europeans.)

Without Europe, we would not have electricity.

But one thing for sure, Europeans do not do well at introspection. Take Sartre, for example.
