Itching ears

People want to hear a do nothing feel good religion that says nothing to address the moral decay in this nation from generation to generation. Everything you need to hear may not be what you want to hear, and everything you want to hear may not be what you need to hear. Reality exists outside of human cognition. The liars and the gullible fools who believe the lies are both wasting their time. When you listen to a false prophet you hear a useless message that doesn’t improve your life but supports the church. When you listen to a prophet sent by God you may not like the message, but the quality of your life improves if you follow. We expect to see supernatural miracles even though we don’t follow basic bible principles. We want God to supernaturally heal physical maladies but will not stay married for the sake of our children. The truth is success in this life is going to require education, hard work, and a little luck. But luck is the place where preparation meets opportunity. Tithing will not help you if you do, nor hurt you if you don’t. Tithing does nothing to improve the quality of your life. The only ones that profit from listening to false prophets are the false prophets themselves and this do nothing feel good religion.

What can I tell you Fred. Times change. Look at Donald Trump. He openly cheated on at least two of his wives and even had a child out of wedlock than has the audacity to say he has never done anything that he needs ask forgiveness for. And with all that he is the nominee for president for the Republican party, a party that is dominated by fundamentalist Christians. You can't really sit there a complain about moral decay when your party is smack dab in the middle of it simply by the people that you nominate to represent you. I mean if adultery is okay for your presidential nominee than it must be okay for the population as a whole. '

So liberal democrats have made homosexuality mainstream and now you conservative republicans have made adultery mainstream. I mean if ever we are on a slippery slope we sure are on one. Whats next, are we going to be able to kill someone simply because we are afraid of them?

Hillary is running for office while under federal investigation for crimes she committed as secretary of state. A democratic president of the United States commits adultery on his wife in the oval office and it becomes a republican trick to remove a sitting president. You can choose your actions,, not your consequences.
