You must realize that most of the persons who post on political forums like this are extremists & fanatics and not at all representative of thinking by ordinary people here in the U.S. In fact, many if not most of the posters in this forum are what are unkindly referred to as right wing nut cases--political crazies, in other words. As opposed to political suck ups like some I could name? It has been my experience that those who favor Democratic handouts the most are the ones who pay for them the least.

Today's left has moved so far left that they make moderates look far right. At one time democrats wanted the same as I do.

I think the people here all have opinions, and I think people coming in from foreign places have there own opinions. Time will tell which side they stand on, more and more spending more and more freebies for people not willing to work, forced health care on people that can't afford it or don't want it, or on the other side limited government, lower taxes, less spending, putting God back in our lives, freedom to carry guns, freedom to worship as we please, freedom to chose our life style

I'm looking forward to some comments from the Sudanese guys. I knew some Nigerians in college who were probably more conservative than me, and more pro US than some of the posters here seem to be. They were educated, articulate and polite.
