I watched the whole thing. Instead of crying I thought "No wonder these liberals are so brain-dead about what's going on in the world around them". Our country is slowly evolving into a police state with an imminent economic collapse on the way and ISIS burning people alive, drowning people in cages and making pubescent girls their sex s***es. To me having so much respect for people who overexert themselves to be the best they can be at something that is totally pointless other than to enhance their ego and get praise for something that doesn't matter is stupid. Watch just the first one minute and 45 seconds of this video and tell me there is not a horrific meaning behind his words. He is talking about a dictatorship here and our giving up our sovereignty to the authority of the coming one world government. It's like his czar Van Jones (who was such an outspoken admitted c*******t party member that he had to be let go) stated giving an analogy of our governmental system which our founding fathers devised to that of a broken down car --- he said "were not going to just replace the battery. were going to replace the whole damn thing". Is that what you want ???? For us to give up our sovereignty to the authority of the one world government dictatorship of total control and tyranny. While I understand the concern, he can not declare martial law and stay in office..Our Military would gladly take him out!!! One way or the other~~~I rather doubt they would follow his directive and they would finally have right to take him...

Nothing in the I**********n or Posse Comitatus Acts – which are the two laws a President may invoke to declare a state of martial law – contain provisions for the dissolving of Congress and putting an end to term limits.

The laws' combined purpose is to give the Federal government authority to suppress i**********ns and restore civilian rule where it’s been c*********d, not further subvert it. Furthermore, the President is not authorized to invoke either of those Acts without the consent of the State(s) into which troops are to be deployed (I**********n Act) or Congress for their use in a domestic law enforcement capacity (Posse Comitatus Act).

In both those cases, it is very clear in the law that the emergencies for which the military may be deployed in a domestic capacity are limited to i**********ns and the breakdown of civilian authority within a State. Once civilian institutions are back up and running, and their ability to enforce State and Federal law restored, the troops would have to leave.

Lastly, while a lot of the other answers have pretty much made those same points, I’ll offer one more that’s been overlooked: The military obeying any order to dissolve Congress and maintain the President in power beyond his lawful term.

They wouldn’t.In the military, an order is lawful unless it violates the Constitution or other laws of the United States. A President legally imposing martial law would be a valid order, but if he intended the o*******w of Congress and installation as President-for-life, then the orders would be s*******s by their nature (ie, a conspiracy for the effective o*******w of the government), and thus unlawful.

In this particular circumstance, the military would have more than just a duty to disobey the President, but to fight back against the conspiracy. In the case of mutiny and s******n, failure to intervene and suppress the conspiracy is a crime punishable by death.

So even if the President had a legitimate reason to invoke martial law, he would have neither the authority nor the means of dissolving Congress and becoming a President for life. It's more likely that he would find his reign cut short by a quick military c**p to depose him and restore the lawful civilian authorities.

Stop Don't you even know that Obama has purged the military of all the high ranking officers that would stop him ??? Apparently you have no familiarity with the executive orders that come into play under a martial law scenario. He certainly can put off any further e******ns and they are so all-encompassing that he has total control over everything in the way of t***sportation, (including Air & waterways), the production and distribution of food, and even enabling him to jerk people out of the population and put them on work gangs without pay.
