From what I've been able to gather, the shooter may or may not have been born here, but his parents immigrated from Afghanistan. He had a concealed carry permit from Florida, supposedly. I can't wait for the gun control trolls to come out of the woodwork. They can't seem to comprehend that no gun control proposal will do one damn thing to stop this. What will stop this is not allowing criminals into this country. Hillary the Harridan has vowed to continue Obama's policy of welcoming unvetted Muslim refugees, and an uncontrolled flood of wetbacks at our Southern border.
Hillary claims to be for gay rights, but she couldn't care less. She wants your v**e. She claims to be for women's rights, and accepted more than 25 million dollars from Saudi Arabia, perhaps the worst country in the world for abusing women and gays, also. I guess all that money kind of shoots your "ethics" right in the butt.
So the gay community will v**e for Hillary the Harridan, who promises "gun control." It won't do a bit of good, but it makes good copy. What happens when the next hit is a suicide bomber? Is she going to push for "suicide bomber control" that works as well as "gun control?"

Still have your sense of humor I see Loki. I've been trying to see where you would get 50 rednecks together at one time--there would be a country western bar and if they weren't too hungover, church the next day. My bet though, in either place they would be just as dead as anyone else...

Muslim. Even after the B******i attack, Obama would not use the words "Islamic Terrorist." After the San Bernadino shootings, proven beyond the slightest doubt to be an act of Islamic terror, Obama would not say "Islamic Terror."
The Orlando shooter had been interviewed three times by the FBI for possible terrorist connections. Guess they dropped the ball on that one, huh?
Predictably, Obama focused on those horrible "assault weapons" which are nothing but a semi auto rifle that looks military.
There is no gun control in the world short of confiscation that would have stopped this shooting. He was cleared by the FBI.
It is worth noting that while the weapon of choice now is a semi-auto handgun, twenty years ago most ,murders were committed with revolvers, because semis were not that popular.

Rednecks carry guns. Rednecks shoot back. Rednecks are far less likely to be unarmed and helpless.
I read an interesting statistic. About 20% of California households have firearms, yet the murder rate in California is higher than Georgia, where the figure is more like 60% of households, and around 92% in rural areas.
I live in one of the most heavily armed counties in one of the most heavily armed states, yet we have only had four murders in the ten years I have lived here. Literally one of every eight people in this county who can obtain one has a carry permit. With all those guns, according to you Liberals, we should have a combination of Syria and the OK corral, instead of one of the lowest murder rates in the country.
I cannot remember the last time I went to the Supermarket, or for that matter, WalMart that I did not see people carrying firearms, either openly, or someone I knew who carried concealed, as I do.
