God prefers obedience over songs
You accomplish nothing when you watch someone sing or dance. In 1 Samuel 15:22 God says to obey is better than sacrifice. It is foolish to worship what you do not understand. It doesn’t make sense to cheat on your spouse but think God is happy when you sing a song. The church may like the sound of your voice but God will judge your works, according to Revelation 22:12. For some reason, the tone of the note, or the emotion behind the words mean more than the words themselves. This is wrong. Actions should speak louder than words and what a person does should matter should matter than what one says. Just because someone speaks like they are telling the truth doesn’t mean they are telling the truth. Reality exists outside of human cognition. An adult can lie better than a child. The ideas put out as religion are really useless nonsense that is responsible for the decline in morality in this nation from generation to generation. We have let religion turn us into judgmental useless parasites who expect things from God but do nothing for God.
"The Lord is my Rock, my strength and my song". Music is a very important part of the Temple service. The ancient prophets prophesied with music. I Samuel 10:5. We are to sing a "new song" and we're supposed to play it LOUD. This is medium Rock music, what I call "messianic Rock" and they are mainly artists from Europe. Heavy metal or hard rock is a Satanic counterfeit of the Rock of God.
