The world is an ever growing jungle of human garbage and it's time to clean house. Europe especially needs a draft to rid itself of non-conforming nationalities who want to take the land away. We need a draft here to turn our d********g "buttercup generation " into a force to be recond with...because this religious culture clash will only get worse. Any of you "protected libs " on OPP wanna comment....I won't shut you out. Don't wanna get drafted?...get the hell out! !

I'm not a fan of his political views, but Robert A Heinlein had what I consider to be a very good idea. Only citizens are allowed to v**e. A citizen was defined as one who has served in the Military. Imagine how different things would be if we did it that way? For one thing, we wouldn't have a bunch of welfare queens v****g for whoever promised them the most handouts.

Are you intimating that Bernie would have had a chance at e******n because of his socialist leaning? Well, sure he would have. Now Hillary can move back toward the center since she doesn't have to work at beating Bernie.

If I ran this country, that's exactly the way it would be.

The draft forced me to take another 3 years to "grow up" in that I couldn't seem to get any schools to take a chance on hiring me because I might get drafted. I finally gave up and enlisted in the Army instead of waiting at least 6 months before I could be drafted. I came to h**e draftees who somehow got to get training for the ASA and I had to wait several months on all of them to finally be put in schools, since they were only going to be around 2 years and I had 3 years to go. Only men with RA as the beginning of their service numbers were liked by me. Those with US just weren't my favorites. Sitting around in that Repo Depot waiting got me some very interesting duties till I finally volunteered to tend fires and hot water heaters in the company. That beat the hell out of being a prisoner chaser at the stockade and serving on KP duty a couple of times a week. Is this enough for you to understand why I h**ed draftees?

No. I'm intimating that the military would teach people discipline and a strong work ethic. It could only help our situation.

Oh, IDK. I still refuse to make my bed. What's the point? It's just going to get messed up again. But for the most part, you are correct.

Agreed.... Including Women..... Everybody for at least a year (negotiable). No college deferment - 18 YO. No medical deferment either - 18 YO - You can do something. Contentious Objector all the way over the border. Everyone whom serves gets a cookie....

I had nearly the same idea but with only CITIZENS who pay taxes are allowed to v**e.

What about wounded Veterans? Are you going to deny them the v**e? If anyone deserves to v**e, they do. Even if they can't work and pay taxes.
