Actions that are permitted in school will get you arrested when you grow up

Life changes when you grow up. The emotional behavior we practice as children look foolish if we do them when we become adults. Children love sweets and need but don’t want discipline. Small children aren’t arrested for shoplifting. They mistreat and bully each other in school. If they continue misbehaving as adults, they can wind up dead or in jail. Kids need discipline. Proverbs 29:15 says, “a child left to himself brings his mother to shame”. Many proverbs support corporal punishment. Many people do not. While the police may arrest you if you beat your child, they will arrest your child if you do not; and they continue to act like a child when they grow up.

Interesting and thoughtful post. How do we draw the lines between proper discipline and abuse? In the world as perceived by the left, any discipline or correction is a form of child abuse. the progressive concept is that children will discover for themselves what is right and wrong, which any thoughtful person realizes is pure nonsense, B**S of the highest order.

I think it is child abuse not to use corporal punishment.

Abuse and neglect of a child is one of the seven deadly sins. But children need instruction and discipline. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it". If you discipline and correct your child, you have saved his life.

If you don't, you don't love them.
